The Great Torma Ritual for Clearing All Obstacles. The Great Torma Ritual for Clearing All Obstacles. The Great Torma Ritual for Clearing All Obstacles Resides Here. Om Svasti! The history of this is: Lama Bariwa went to Nepal and invited a Pandit to come. From Sermey, he went to Purang and met with Tsenpo Tsedé, and gave the king empowerment. After teaching the Dharma, the king offered a hundred gold coins. The Pandit gathered those together, and the Lama requested, "Please give me a little bit." But he didn't give it, and instead, he argued and became angry again, so he was very annoyed and sent the Pandit back to Nepal. Then, on the way to Nepal, he met a heretical Pandit. That person said, "You must be my translator and go to Tibet." The Lama refused. That person said, "I will not teach heretical Dharma, but will teach Buddhist Dharma." But the Lama did not listen. That person said, "I will cast a spell on you." Without doing anything wrong to you, he cast a spell, causing your skin to crack, and then he went to India. After that, the Lama met with Vajrasana and was listening to the Dharma when Vajrasana said, "It seems that you will be harmed by heretics." The Lama said no, but Vajrasana said you will be harmed. The Lama said, "Then, in Nepal, I met a person named Heretic Kalden Gyalpo, and this is what happened." Vajrasana said, "Oh, that's what it was." The Lama recited the mantra of Bhayana and threw the great torma three times, and in the end, that person died. Therefore, Vajrasana said, "This has great blessings." Vajrasana, Lama Bariwa, Great Lama, Vajrasana said, "This is a pure history." Homage to the Bhagavan, the Great Compassionate One! To liberate beings from the ocean of existence. To the Lama with great wisdom and faith, and to the glorious Lord of the World, I prostrate and write the torma ritual. This is free from the defilement of evil thoughts and words, and it bestows benefit. It is a summary of six: the individual, place, time, implements, ritual, and benefits. Among these, the Acharya who gives the torma, and the yogi who recites the mantra for the vase, should possess vows and precepts, and should have previously completed the approach retreat of any wrathful deity. The torma attendant should also possess deity yoga and protection.
