Oral Transmission Those who became vessels for the instructions of the oral transmission, for some disciples who did not need all the instructions, they also gave them for their sake. Among those, there were also those who gave rise to special realizations and reached the ultimate. Even if the essential points are included in the "Great Guide," it is not contradictory to do them separately, just like the illusory body single seat. Therefore, just as the great scholar Kyungpo Rinpoche separated the illusory body single seat and made it. Drogon Tonpa also made these two. Here, it should be understood that there is no difference between good and bad authors. Apart from the fact that there seems to be a difference in whether or not speculation is involved in the difference between verse and prose in the "Precious Garland of Light" and these two, there is no difference in the necessary meanings. Thus, even if the main points are extracted separately from the extensive guidance methods. Those noble beings have blessed each of the categories of guidance, so now it is also very good and appropriate to guide students with these guidance methods according to the intelligence of each individual to be tamed. In general, for verbal guidance, it is necessary to hear from the lama an extensive lineage of speech that is not mixed with verbal errors, without additions or omissions, and that can be remembered. For the guidance of experiential meaning, it is not necessary to arrange it like an extensive guide, but if one relies on one or two or three objects and experiences arise to the standard, then one will grasp all the essentials. Also, if one does not like the extensive and concise treatises on the Six Dharmas, but prefers the Dharma with the name of Niguma's Six Dharmas, then for the former of these two, add only Bardo and Phowa, and the "Precious Garland of Light," and for the latter, add Tummo on top of that, also adding it in an appropriate way. If the way of adding is put in the text, there is a danger of mixing the words of the accomplished ones, so it is better to add it separately. Other than that, saying that it is a guide to Niguma's Six Dharmas, like the one approximated by Jamyang Khyentse Wangpo. Niguma did not say it, Kyungpo did not hear it, and the fabricated Niguma Dharma that none of the lineage lamas thought of, only chases after the name of Niguma, and has no Dharma history.

It is merely to deceive fools. If it is said that this is the pure sequence of practices explained from other teachings, then what is the point of giving it the name of Niguma's Dharma? Like this, it is not right in any way to give the name of Shangpa Dharma to something that does not have even a single aspect of the Shangpa Kagyu's meditation methods. The so-called "Illusory Body One-Seat Yoga" comes from the oral transmission records of the great accomplished master Khyunpo: "In the Illusory Body One-Seat Yoga, there are four supplications and eight aspirations. The four supplications are like the usual sequence of the four empowerments. The eight aspirations are: death and impermanence, devotion to the guru, knowing when falling asleep, knowing illusions in dreams, practicing expansion and transformation." The sequence of practice is: first, take refuge and generate bodhicitta, and purify emptiness. When cultivating the renunciation of death and impermanence, be more diligent than usual. The guru yoga is the same as the illusory body practice. After the guru dissolves into oneself, visualize oneself as the deity's body, and focus on all external appearances. Whatever appears, immediately visualize it as the deity's body, and focus on all appearances simultaneously. Know that all of this is the appearance of one's own mind, and that the mind is also unreal and illusory. More importantly, think, "I am asleep, all these appearances are dreams," and strongly cultivate the aspiration of unreality and the aspiration of dreams. During the breaks between sessions, combine the three aspirations and practice without distraction, especially adding the aspiration of dreams. Before going to sleep, strongly cultivate the aspiration of dreams and the aspiration of unreality, and fall asleep in this state. There is no need to seek other dream-taking instructions, thinking that this alone is sufficient. After that, practice expansion, transformation, etc., as in the detailed Six Dharmas. If you want to understand in detail, you can refer to the guidance of Zhicheng Gyaltsen Bum, and if you have a clear understanding of the guidance of the scriptures, then even relying on these words alone can realize its meaning. Therefore, the meditations needed during the guidance of the Six Dharmas scriptures, as well as the oral instructions, key points, and various categories of extensive and concise, have all been explained. Here it is said: Be certain that the profound and unerring meaning is this.
