Hold the mind as before. Meditate in this way again and again. In between, take a rest, and at the end, when concluding the session, contemplate that all phenomena of self and others, both the container and its contents, are like mirages, and release awareness with relaxation. Once accustomed, the signs of mirages will also appear. This completes the second round of contemplation. Second, training in transforming shapes: If you are accustomed to the previous contemplation, this is the practice. That is, in front of you, place a statue or a vajra bell, or anything else, on a mandala. Just as you contemplate yourself as a deity, contemplate it as Vajravarahi. After visualizing it clearly in detail, the method of holding the mind on the gross aspect, etc., is the same as before. The method of interrupting the contemplation is the same as before, and the times of rest and breaks are also the same. When concluding the session, contemplate that the deity in front dissolves into the vaṃ (藏文,梵文天城体:वं,梵文罗马拟音:vaṃ,汉语字面意思:വം) at your navel. This completes the third round of contemplation. Third, training the appearance on shapes: After going through refuge, bodhicitta, and supplication as before, contemplate all the objects around you, such as pillars, vases, walls, branches, pebbles, etc., as the body of Vajravarahi. From among them, clearly visualize any object of contemplation. Clearly visualize Vajravarahi with diligence, and meditate by strongly focusing awareness. For the others, just have the intention that they are vaguely deity forms. The limbs of contemplation, such as rest, etc., are the same as before. If one is clear, then train in two or three, etc., gradually training step by step. This completes the fourth round of contemplation. Thus, the first method of meditation, training in shapes, is well completed. Second, training in the winds: There are two types, gathering the winds and purifying the winds. The first is: It comes from the common instructions. Refuge, bodhicitta, and supplication, the preliminaries of the session, are as before. The physical posture is arranged in the same way as the general seven-point posture of Vairochana. Visualize yourself as the form of Vajravarahi, and in the center of the body, at the level of the navel, there is a red vaṃ (藏文,梵文天城体:वं,梵文罗马拟音:vaṃ,汉语字面意思:വം). In the sky, about eight finger-widths above the tip of the nose, visualize a four-armed kapala that is red in color, as if written with madder juice, facing you, swirling to the left. This is the definite place of meditation: measure eight finger-widths straight up from the tip of the nose.

It is not. Because it is considered that there are slight upward movements, etc., the meaning is to meditate on the sky where the forehead does not touch the space four fingers upwards from the level where the forehead's range and height are the same. Although there is generally no fixed size for the joy swirl, it is asserted that it should be meditated upon as the size of a thumbnail. After that, eliminate the stale air three times, and hold the gentle wind in conjunction. For this, there is no need to pull upwards except to bind the downward-clearing air in its own place. From the vaṃ (Tibetan: བཾ།) at the navel, a bluish-green smoke like incense smoke rises straight up, emerges from the nostril through which the air flows, and strikes the joy swirl residing in the sky. Focus your awareness on it spinning rapidly in a leftward spiral. When the flow of air on the left and right is clear, it is the same. If the flow is unclear or simultaneous, then it must be assumed that it flows from both nostrils. This needs to be meditated on for a few days, so make the small object one object cycle. The limbs, etc., after the session are the same as before, except that instead of focusing on the mirage, focus on the smoke. Once accustomed to this, meditate on the joy swirl rotating in the sky six fingers above the tip of the nose. The rest is the same as before. This also needs to be meditated on for a few days, so count it as one object cycle. Similarly, meditate on the joy swirl rotating four fingers above the tip of the nose. The rest is the same. This also needs to be meditated on for a few days, so count it as one object cycle, but focus on the joy swirl rotating inside the tip of the nose. The rest is the same as before. This is also one small object cycle. In short, for these four sections, in general, the duration is adjusted according to whether the object is clear or not, and the size of the effort. Although there is no specific number of days, if one meditates about sixty-four breaths per session with a medium level of object clarity, then one should meditate on these for seven days each. After that, divide each session, such as morning, into four small segments, making each a small session. In the first small session, meditate on the joy swirl rotating eight fingers above the tip of the nose. The second is six fingers, the third is four fingers, and the fourth is rotating at the tip of the nose. The rest is the same as before. It is very important to meditate on this until signs appear. At the very least, spend a month and a half meditating one hundred breaths in each of the four sessions.
