Just as hailstones melt away, thoughts transform, and although the mind radiates, it does not scatter, but naturally abides. The body trembles, awareness is bright, and experiences like wind blowing through a forest arise. Similarly, the five sense consciousnesses manifest as emptiness without being harmed by external objects. Second, integrating this into the path involves entering the profound and actually practicing the profound. The first point can be divided into practicing selflessness and practicing non-substantiality. The first is, as stated in the "Kun-zang Prayer": "The continuous flow of thoughts of self and mine, its self-nature is pure, which is the path of liberation, knowing that is the self-nature of awareness." This means that the so-called "self" neither resides inside the body nor outside the body, nor is it the five senses and the various parts of the body, nor is it somewhere else different from these. Therefore, the so-called "self" is merely the false clinging of ordinary people, and in reality, there is nothing. Practicing in this way is the fifth method of contemplation. The second, practicing non-substantiality, has three aspects. As the "Oral Instructions" say: "Why are all phenomena, abiding in the mind, and the mind itself, abiding in space, space then, abides nowhere, luminosity, from the beginning is pure emptiness." According to this order, first practice seeing appearances as mind, then practice the non-duality of grasper and grasped, and finally determine that self-nature is free from all extremes. The first is, focusing on things that appear as the body, thinking that these things do not exist as they appear, because people have different views on the same thing, so everything is just a manifestation of the mind. This is the sixth method of contemplation. Place any object of contemplation in front of you, carefully analyze its various parts, and finally realize that it is just an aggregate of dust particles. If you further analyze and break down each dust particle, you will find that it is different from before. Therefore, although the object of contemplation still appears clearly in front of your eyes, you will not find anything when you analyze it, and you should understand that this is just an illusion of your own mind. This is the seventh method of contemplation. Applying the same steps to all external appearances is the eighth method of contemplation. The second is, analyzing the mind that manifests various things, it is neither inside nor outside.

It also did not become a role, color, or shape. It is neither an object nor a sense faculty. If one examines the nature of the mind in the three times, the past has ceased and is gone, the future has not yet arisen, and the present, when examined in terms of the beginning, middle, and end of a moment, has no abiding. Although the knowing of appearances does not cease to appear as awareness, it is not found when sought. To rest in appearance while the knowing of grasping and being grasped is absent is the ninth posture. The third consists of the yoga of emptiness, the yoga of one taste, and the yoga of inexpressibility. The first is to abandon all the elaborations of conceptual thought in the three times and to rest in a state of utter clarity without any object of focus. In between, one should remember slightly, "All these are not anything at all," and then rest. This is the tenth posture. The second is to fix the mind on oneself and the objects of appearance and to rest without any distinction of parts in the self-interest of momentary awareness. In between, one should remember, "All dharmas are of one taste, equality itself." This is the eleventh posture. The third is that, in this way, the stream of experience and awareness is uninterrupted, and appearances do not cease. Although it is possible for dependent arising of cause and effect to arise without ceasing, from the very moment of arising, it is not established anywhere and is not anything at all. One should rest in that which is established by one's own experience and is without fabrication. One should recognize that which is experienced but cannot be spoken of as inexpressible. These three are called the yoga with conceptualization because they are related to conceptual meditation. The twelfth posture is complete. The second, the actual profound meditation, is the yoga of non-conceptualization. That is: "Free from all conceptualizations, Utterly beyond the realm of thought and expression, Like space, immaculate, the source of all, Called the profound nature beyond examination." Thus, in this context, profound is also that which is unfabricated and beyond the realm of the mind. It is also said to be something that can accommodate all forms. That is, from the nature of those previous ones, first, when the appearance of the six aggregates is clear, by inserting a little awareness from within, emptiness is recognized from the very moment of appearance. One should know that the indivisibility of appearance and emptiness is the miraculous display of the vajra of bodhicitta. This is the thirteenth posture. Then, one's own
