and with respectful mind towards the supreme conduct of mantra. This is the conduct of the Vajrayana. Starting from the subtle conduct of oneself, adopting and abandoning, And being skilled in the methods of the great ones, Also believing in and comprehending the wondrous conduct, Being able to equally treat whatever arises, without attachment. Acting in this way, one will not go astray. Without ever engaging in selfish desires, With a mind of compassion, solely accomplishing the benefit of others. Although beings are without inherent existence, yet within compassion, All correct actions are gathered here. When taking the practice of single-pointed accomplishment, This life is insignificant, impermanent, and fleeting. The suffering of the three realms is like a pit of fire, From this, generate a strong renunciation from the depths of your heart. Generate compassion for suffering beings, And generate the great burden of aspiration to accomplish enlightenment. Having well understood the ultimate emptiness of reality, free from elaboration, Thereby generating supreme faith, Meditate single-pointedly on calm abiding and insight in stages. Calm abiding, unmoved by the winds of conceptual thought, And insight into the clear and empty awareness of mind itself, If one meditates on the yoga of the union of calm abiding and insight, One will quickly conquer the enemy of afflictions. Reciting mantras, contemplating mandalas, wheels, and so forth, Also accomplishing various methods for the benefit of others. For the profound essence, according to the lama's instructions, Diligently meditate on the yoga of great wisdom. All conceptual thoughts are fleeting like clouds, The nature of mind is free from elaboration, unchanging like space, Meditate without wavering in the realm of awareness, The essence of practice and meditation is gathered there. If one practices view, meditation, and conduct without error, What doubt is there about attaining the supreme result? When all the causes and conditions are complete and assembled, No one can prevent the arising of the result. The Buddhas have said that there are many stages of bhumis and paths, To deny the stages of bhumis and paths is a matter for laughter. Therefore, having traversed the paths in stages, One will eventually reach the state of ultimate enlightenment. The wisdom of the Dharmakaya, free from elaboration, Is not like ignorant darkness, But knows clearly the suchness of all knowable phenomena of the three times, As they are and as many as they are. From the unobstructed self-appearance of great wisdom, In the mirror of the pure minds of others, Appear countless images of form bodies, From this, spontaneous accomplishment without effort.

In the absence of it. To all sentient beings to be tamed in the three times, whatever activity is suitable for taming, may that activity be engaged. Thus, may this profound and supreme instruction enter the mind of the venerable one, and for the immeasurable assembly of fortunate beings to be tamed, may it bestow a feast of the nectar of the sacred Dharma. This was spoken by Jangkampa Taranatha, urged by the words of Lama Kaziwa Kunga Lhundrup, the great holder of the teachings of the glorious Jonangpa from the kingdom of Lower Dokham, the precious lineage of the Victorious Buddha's teachings. To Lama Kaziwa Kunga Lhundrup.
