May the unfeigned aspiration of Bodhicitta arise in the continuum. Thus, compassion arises from seeing sentient beings experiencing suffering, and loving-kindness arises from the desire to establish them in happiness. Furthermore, the courage to take upon oneself the benefit of such sentient beings and the Bodhicitta that desires to attain Buddhahood, placing the sole purpose of benefiting others in one's heart. When these are endowed with strength, then the uncommon Dharma of the Mahayana has arisen in the continuum, and it is the beginning of having attained the path. Thereafter, such Where is the place where suffering is experienced, which is the realm of the world; who experiences suffering, which are sentient beings; what is the cause by which suffering is experienced, which are actions and afflictions; how is suffering experienced, which is the manner of birth, old age, sickness, and death, and the nature of suffering of each of the six realms. All of these, because of the presence of the imprints of ignorance in their respective mindstreams, only arise in the appearance of delusion, and are not established in the reality of things. When one knows them to be like the appearance of a dream, then because the suffering of samsara is also unreal and illusory, one does not fear them oneself. Although there is no suffering in reality, compassion arises especially for sentient beings who experience suffering by mistaking it for being there. Seeing that sentient beings and suffering are without inherent existence, one is also separated from grasping them as real. When that which is called the essence of emptiness and compassion gradually arises in the continuum, then whether one enters the path through Sutra or Tantra, the essence of the Mahayana path has arisen in the continuum. In particular, abiding in a state of non-conceptualization in the sphere that is free from elaboration, and Seeing that all aggregates of conceptualization are empty in nature, and seeing that the nature of the mind is clear light, which is never changing, at that time, one will gain firm faith in the Tathagatagarbha, and from that, one will also know that all sentient beings possess the Tathagatagarbha. Therefore, one does not despise sentient beings, has loving-kindness for sentient beings as equal to oneself, and knowing that the nature of sentient beings and the nature of the Buddha are inseparable, one generates special reverence.

Having the courage to know that all beings can be established in unsurpassed enlightenment, and also having great compassion for beings who possess Buddhahood themselves but do not realize it, preventing strong attachment to the appearances of all phenomena, including self and others, samsara and nirvana, happiness and suffering, and being able to abide single-pointedly in the equality of self-nature, whether one enters the path of Sutra or Tantra, one is touching the extremely excellent and profound essence of the Mahayana path. This latter, as stated in the Sutras, "Delighting in the words of the irreversible wheel," and entering the path of definitive true meaning, entering all vehicles, becoming a being to be tamed for the sake of the final wheel, and attaining the position called Bodhisattva of sharp faculties. These are the basis of the path, so both Sutra and Tantra are needed. If one wants to quickly realize the reality of the nature of phenomena by relying on the vehicle of Tantra, then one must ripen the continuum with true empowerment, and if one is of dull faculties and needs to tame the continuum, then one must also learn well the generation stage with its branches, and if one is of sharp faculties, then one can accomplish the meaning by relying solely on the completion stage, and both must strive to practice the extremely diligent yoga Mahamudra as the main way of meaning. That is the six branches of yoga, etc., although it needs to be understood from the oral instructions of the Lama and the teachings of the ten-ground Bodhisattvas, but the essence of the meaning is: completely abandoning all conceptual thoughts, when striking the key points of the body with unwavering yoga, the self-nature of the mind is luminosity, appearing in the form of the great seal of empty form that possesses all aspects of excellence, striving to dissolve the twenty-one thousand six hundred karmic winds into the Dharmadhatu, one will manifest unchanging great bliss, thus uniting the emptiness that possesses all aspects of excellence and unchanging great bliss, that is the true essence of the Tathagatagarbha, and that is also the self-nature that has always existed in the mindstream of beings, but has not yet manifested, the methods are different.
