Please keep those meanings and characteristics slightly in mind. Furthermore, some say that if sentient beings have Buddhahood, then sentient beings called "persons" have the Tathagatagarbha. After saying this, some say that this is the impure Buddha-mother. Regarding this, one should differentiate in this way: There are two types of Buddhas, those with one purity and those with two purities. Therefore, although sentient beings do not have Buddhas with two purities, there are Buddhas with two purities. Some say that there are no Buddhas with one purity. If so, because there are no Buddhas with one purity, it would also follow that there are no Buddhas with two purities. As the venerable Dharmakirti said, "If one of them is not established, both will be destroyed." This is also established through reasoning; if one does not exist, how can two exist? In the tantric teachings, it is also said, "The Tathagata who is liberated from the beginning," and in the sutras, it is said, "All dharmas are naturally in nirvana," and so on, and "Unborn, unceasing, naturally peaceful, self-nature nirvana is established," and so on, which also contradicts the teachings of Maitreya. Self-nature nirvana, self-nature Buddhahood, self-nature Bodhi, self-nature luminosity, and so on, have the same meaning. These are the answers of those who claim to be wise, but the answers to the wrong views of fools are endless, so I will not elaborate on them here. As Dharmakirti said, "Answers to wrong views are endless, I will not elaborate on them here." Therefore, the meaning of being ignorant of the ultimate truth is: Although many people think that merely not establishing any ultimate is the ultimate, that is not the ultimate truth. That is called conventional ultimate, which has the same meaning as relative truth. As it is said in the Two Truths, "The negation of birth, etc., is also very consistent with the ultimate truth," and in the Mind Commentary, "Conventional is explained as emptiness, emptiness alone is conventional." And in the Perfection of Wisdom Sutra, the meaning of saying "Form is emptiness, emptiness is form" is also the same, because all conventional dharmas are empty while appearing, and appearing while being empty. The meaning of appearing while being empty is also that appearing is empty as if it were true. The meaning of being empty while appearing is also that truly

It means that although the appearance is emptiness, it is only an appearance. The Ornament of the Sutras also says, "Likewise, dualistic appearance exists for it, but its reality does not exist." This has been made clear. In short, due to ignorance of the two truths of the basis, they slander that there is no Sugata-garbha of ultimate truth. Therefore, due to ignorance of the two accumulations of the path, they exclude the accumulation of wisdom that is to be known individually by wisdom. Therefore, due to ignorance of the union of the two kayas of the result, they slander that there is no ultimate Dharmakaya that is permanent. Therefore, the final teachings that proclaim the Buddha's permanence, as well as the tantras, the latter three of the Five Treatises of Maitreya, the collections of praises of Madhyamaka, and the treatises of Asanga, are successively slandered as being provisional and not definitive, not Madhyamaka but Mind-Only. Therefore, those special individuals who consider these to be definitive are falsely accused of being Mind-Only, eternalists, or Samkhyas. Therefore, they accumulate the karma of abandoning the Dharma, which is heavier than the five heinous crimes. The Protector Maitreya said that the karma of abandoning the Dharma is heavier than the five heinous crimes because: If someone repeatedly associates with bad friends, harbors ill will towards the Buddha, kills their parents who are Arhats, does what should not be done, and destroys the Sangha, if they truly contemplate the nature of reality, they will quickly be liberated from it. If someone's mind hates the Dharma, how can they be liberated from it? The important thing now is that if you start from not understanding the Dharma, whatever you do will not be happy, and whatever you do will encounter problems. If you start from understanding the Dharma, whatever you do will be happy, whatever you do will not have problems, and your mind will feel relaxed and at ease. At this time when it is difficult to find a human body with leisure and opportunity, please carefully study the sutras and tantras. Sometimes, please also meditate on entering into non-conceptual samadhi. At that time, whatever benefits sentient beings is the essence of the Mahayana Dharma, so please do that. I, the petitioner, also pray in the same way. May it be accomplished as prayed! Here it is said: The wise are skilled in the place of what to take and what to leave, those who accumulate merit are devoted to the profound Dharma, those with sharp faculties follow the Dharma, and those with good fortune can realize it, but not the opposite.
