Equal to space. All phenomena of outer and inner existence, are primordially pure, without duality of nature. There is no need to transform and accomplish them through the path, they are spontaneously accomplished without effort. Just as there are no stones in the golden continent, for all the phenomena of outer and inner collection, even the name 'fault' does not exist, everything is carried as an ornament of play. Teachings to the learned Khenpo by the yogi Tilo in the city of Padma, called 'Various Inconceivables'. Alas! Listen to me, the diligent yogi with a beautiful face! Well done! Well done! What you have done is excellent! The great teachings of the vehicle, the scriptures of the Thubpa (Buddha), are said by the Victorious One to be like illusions. If you know that all dharmas are like illusions, mirages, dreams, reflections, and emanations, then there is no need to abandon afflictions. Self-liberation is the intention of the Thubpa (Buddha). When you strike stones, wood, and other objects with mantras through familiarity and practice, various images of men, women, horses, and elephants appear. In the beginning, they did not come from anywhere, and when they appear, they are illusions, so there are no characteristics. When the illusion is gathered, it disappears and does not appear, and it does not go anywhere. Even when it is gathered and does not appear, the continuum of moments is not interrupted. Thus, both appearance and non-appearance have no characteristics. Because they are one, as long as the conditions are present, appearance is the perfection of characteristics. Similarly, the characteristic called mirage is near a hot place. The heat of the sun and the direction of the wind blow. From a distance, it looks like a river full of water. When it disappears, the appearance also disappears. Appearance and non-appearance are indistinguishable, beyond characteristics. A dream is when a person falls asleep and sees a happy garden and a grove in the dream. Various objects of enjoyment appear, and various sufferings such as prisons and mountains of knives appear. At the time of birth, dwelling, and cessation, in reality, no other components are accomplished. A reflection is when various forms appear in a clean mirror, and there are no other arrangements such as birth and cessation. Appearance and non-appearance are indistinguishable, one characteristic. An emanation is when it arises from the wisdom samadhi or the power of accomplishing mantras. With various forms such as the colors of flowers, the Tathagata and others appear. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Similarly, the various appearances of inner and outer phenomena, as long as there is the conceptual mind of grasping and being grasped, due to the power of habit, these appearances of various phenomena will occur. When things arise, they do not come from anywhere; they merely appear due to the power of habit. When the habits of the grasper and the grasped are exhausted, when they no longer appear, they have not gone anywhere. You think that illusion, mind and mental events, feeling, and perception are incompatible, while the aggregates of samsara, mind and mental events, feeling, and perception are compatible. If you have doubts because of this, thinking that their beginnings are inconsistent, then are the illusions that transform inconsistency into consistency entrusted to honest people? Or is the beautiful illusion offered to the Buddha? The illusion of accumulating the two accumulations has no difference; the beginnings are the same. Mirages also gather due to conditions and can serve as a path; the beginnings are also the same. In dreams, receiving prophecies from the gods, predicting future events, there is no difference. Images manifested through the power of mantras can see the image of a hidden thief; there is no difference. Emanations manifest the emanations of the Buddhas to benefit sentient beings, existing in kalpas and accomplishing deeds. The various appearances of years, months, and moments should also be understood as emanations; there is no difference; they are the same. Therefore, all things that are like illusions, through giving, taking back, and increasing, therefore, for it, there is no need to accumulate sin, and good deeds should also be understood in the same way. For whom there is neither sin nor merit, for such a person, it is said to attain enlightenment. The harm caused by water can be benefited by a boat; when there is no water, the boat is not necessary. Similarly, the suffering of bad destinies is beneficial to those who understand illusion. When one is free from the suffering of bad destinies, there is no need for good deeds like illusion. The nature of sentient beings and Buddhas is equal; all phenomena are empty in essence; the self-nature is clear light, originally uncreated; it is not the clothing of illusion; it is originally Buddha. If you understand this, you can recognize that there is no separation between self and others; the five aggregates, etc., are merely appearances of illusion. Therefore, recognizing the Tathagata, the wise are said to be superior by surpassing all through the path. Therefore, what you do is a symbol of the Dharma; what is the true emptiness of Dharma nature? Through determination, realize the true and infallible emptiness, which is the Dharmadhatu, the pure nature, sentient beings. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
