Shrī Padma Nirtiśvarāya Namo! From the sky of immeasurable compassion, to those endangered by poverty of cause and effect, to the deity who continuously bestows wealth to fulfill wishes, after paying homage, I will explain the clarification of the activity empowerment. Therein, the root activity is the empowerment, and the branches include the minor activities needed, totaling three. First, the first of the four activities is the preparation: A peaceful mandala painted on cloth, complete with all the doors, all in gold color. On the horse-throne, four layers of felt are laid, with a red and yellow circular center. Behind that, eight-petaled lotus flowers in gold color. In the center and intermediate directions, there are yellow bindus in union. At the four doors, there are clockwise white, blue, red, and yellow bindus. The outer part is a lotus fence, followed by one adorned with jewels, then a vajra fence, and then one surrounded by a treasure-holding creeper. The palace's decorations and walls, etc., are splendidly arranged with various kinds of precious substances. If not available, arrange nine yellow torma offerings on an eight-petaled lotus mandala. On top of that, place a treasure vase, and next to the short throne, place a terma vase. At the top of the torma (bali), behind the main deity's image, erect a tsakli (small painting) adorned with silk, inscribed with the seed syllable (藏文：ས་，梵文：sa，梵文罗马拟音：sa，地), mantra, and hand gestures. In front, place a yellow torma in the shape of a precious flame, adorned with a yellow silk umbrella and surrounded by fine foods. To the right and left, place amrita and rakta, as well as water and offerings. Arrange a seven-pile offering mandala. Prepare incense made from a mixture of white sandalwood, agarwood, and other fragrant substances, as well as perfumed water. If performing a fire offering, prepare the implements for that.
