Om Guhyasthanaya Svaha: In the southwest, recite Om Guhyasthanaya Svaha. Om Pancikaya Svaha: In the northwest, recite Om Pancikaya Svaha. Om Cipikundaliya Svaha: In the northeast, recite Om Cipikundaliya Svaha. Write these down and place them. Continue this for twenty-one days, reciting the mantra of the main deity and retinue. Generally, it is said that seven days is enough, but to avoid omissions, it should be tripled. The signs that appear are: young men giving food and wealth; rain of grain falling; treasures being unearthed; drums being beaten; conches being blown; large flags being waved; climbing snow-capped mountains, etc. These will occur within seven or four days, so do not be distracted. If you dream of beggars or unfortunate people, strive to accumulate merit. If you dream of lepers or widows, etc., it is because you have been affected by impure things, so you should bathe. Before the signs appear, strive to meditate and recite. The visualization during recitation is: from the seed syllable (Tibetan: ས་བོན; Sanskrit Devanagari: बीज; Sanskrit Romanization: bīja; Literal Chinese meaning: seed) at your heart, rays of light emanate, striking the hearts of the Yaksha main deity and retinue; from the hearts of the main deity and retinue, red and yellow rays of light emanate, like iron hooks, gathering all the food and wealth of the world, filling your dwelling. When offering the torma, add 'kha hi kha hi' (Tibetan: ཁཱ་ཧི་ཁཱ་ཧི; Sanskrit Devanagari: खा हि खा हि; Sanskrit Romanization: khā hi khā hi; Literal Chinese meaning: eat eat) to the mantra of the main deity and retinue, and offer various offerings such as food. Until accomplishment, make a torma in the shape of a jewel, decorate it with fragrant grass, arrange eight hooks, and decorate it with red meat, three white foods, and three sweet foods. Write the mantra of the main deity and retinue on a white cloth, tie it to a bamboo stick, and insert it into the torma. As a vow, even after the practice is accomplished, recite the mantra one hundred and eight times each day, offer the best food and wealth to the Lama and the Three Jewels, do not let beggars go away empty-handed, and do not take without giving. If you master this practice, it is impossible not to attain accomplishment. Although there are many methods for practicing the main deity alone, because the practice time is long, the practice of the retinue is not common, so value and keep it secret. Like a wish-fulfilling jewel that fulfills wishes, I, Padmasambhava (Tibetan: པདྨ་; Sanskrit Devanagari: पद्म; Sanskrit Romanization: Padma; Literal Chinese meaning: Lotus), have written the practice of wealth.
