Oṃ Āḥ Hūṃ Hrīḥ! Oṃ Maṇi Padme Hūṃ! Homage to the Supreme Compassionate One! Thus, perform this sequence of practice rituals: preliminary, main practice, and concluding practice. First, the eight branches of the preliminary practice are shown: Taking refuge and generating bodhicitta, arranging the substances for practice, confession and purification, Commanding and demarcating boundaries, bestowing blessings and consecrating offerings. These are the nine aspects of the preliminary practice. Namo Guru Deva Ḍākinī! Samaya Gya Gya Gya! First, after refuge, bodhicitta, confession, and purification have preceded, the third step is to command the obstructing forces: Instantly visualize oneself as the Great Glorious Powerful Lotus Sovereign, with a body color of dark red, extremely wrathful, with three faces and six arms: the right face white, the left face blue, the central face blazing dark red; three eyes glaring, gazing into the expanse of space; beard and eyebrows radiating fire; mouth open and tongue curled; gnashing sky-iron teeth; hair blazing red-yellow like fire at the peak of existence; within the hair, three green horse heads neighing into the expanse of the sky; Subduing all appearances and existences, suppressing all armies of obstructing forces; in the six arms, the three right hands holding a vajra, khaṭvāṅga, and snake lasso; the three left hands holding a bell, blood-filled kapala, and iron hook; the four feet spread in a heroic stance; suppressing all earth lords, nāgas, and fierce spirits; embracing the supreme consort Tsati Wangchukma in indivisible union; adorned with the eight charnel ground adornments and the nine glorious ornaments, proclaiming the sound of Hrīḥ Hrīḥ within a blaze of wisdom fire, cutting off all armies of obstructing forces in the realms of the world; proclaiming the sound of Hūṃ Hūṃ, filling all above, below, and in between with a great palace of self-arisen splendor, composed of wisdom fire, rainbow light, letters, and weapons.
