Da Bao Fuzang TD2759, From the 'Collected Secrets of the Dakinis', The Ritual of Fire Offering for the Four Activities and the Supreme Five, Called 'The Sun Illuminating Activities'. Collected Secrets of the Dakinis, Fire Offering. The Vajra Sun dispels the darkness of delusion, The light of wisdom brings the birth of all joyful accomplishments. I prostrate to the Guru Vajrayogini who bestows, And then I propagate the fire offering of the four activities. Moreover, in the root tantra it is said: 'For those with shape, color, and name, with the fire that transforms into a mouth, with offerings of food and deliciousness, perform the offering of the four activities.' The meaning of what is said is that the root of the activities lies in the deity mantra of the Collected Dakinis, Vajravarahi. How to perform the fire offering of the four activities and the supreme five is divided into three parts: preliminaries, main practice, and conclusion. First, as a common preliminary for the five activities, perform the earth ritual: When the respective times arrive, for whatever activity, in a praised and suitable place, arrange white torma and golden beverage. Perform the generation and recitation of the usual yoga mudra, or in brief, instantly transform oneself into the form of Vajravarahi, the wrathful black mother. Recite 'Om Bam Vajra Bharahi Krodhi Kali Hari Nisa Abeshaya' (藏文:ཨོཾ་བཾ་བཛྲ་བྷ་ར་ཧི་ཀྲོ་དྷཱི་ཀཱ་ལི་ཧ་རི་ནི་ས་ཨཱ་བཻ་ཤ་ཡ༔,梵文天城体:,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ baṃ vajra bhārahi krodhī kāli hari nisa ābeśaya,汉语字面意思:Om, Bam, Vajra, Bharahi, Wrathful, Kali, Hari, Nisa, Enter) about one hundred and eight times, generating pride. Then, 'Ram Yam Kham' (藏文:རྃ་ཡྃ་ཁྃ།,梵文天城体:,梵文罗马拟音:raṃ yaṃ khaṃ,汉语字面意思:Ram, Yam, Kham). From emptiness, from 'Bhrum' (藏文:བྷྲཱུྃ,梵文天城体:,梵文罗马拟音:bhrūṃ,汉语字面意思:Bhrum) arises a vast and boundless vessel of jewels, filled with torma possessing perfect color, smell, taste, and power. Bless with 'Om Ah Hum' (藏文:ཨོཾ་ཨཱཿཧཱུྃ་,梵文天城体:,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ āḥ hūṃ,汉语字面意思:Om, Ah, Hum). Earth Lord and retinue, Vajra Samajaha). Offer the torma with three sentences such as 'Bhumi Pati Sa Parivara Akaro' (藏文:བྷཱུ་མི་པ་ཏི་ས་པ་རི་ཝཱ་ར་ཨ་ཀཱ་རོ་,梵文天城体:,梵文罗马拟音:bhūmi pati sa parivāra akāro,汉语字面意思:Earth Lord and retinue, Akaro). Pray: 'Whatever gods and nagas dwell here, as well as yakshas, rakshasas, or other beings, for the purpose of the mandala, please grant me this place.' Grant permission with 'Sarva Bhuta Gaccha' (藏文:སརྦ་བྷཱུ་ཏ་གཙྪ,梵文天城体:,梵文罗马拟音:sarva bhūta gaccha,汉语字面意思:All beings go), visualize dissolving into the ground where you are, and offer the golden beverage and torma in a clean place. The master, holding the vajra, touches the ground with the palm of his hand, recites the root mantra one hundred and eight times, and 'Om Hana Hana Krodha Hum Phet' (藏文:ཨོཾ་ཧ་ན་ཧ་ན་ཀྲོ་དྷ་ཧཱུྃ་ཕཊ྄ཿ,梵文天城体:,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ hana hana krodha hūṃ phaṭ,汉语字面意思:Om, strike, strike, wrathful, Hum, Phet) seven times, performing mundane purification, and placing mindfulness on the nature of reality, knowing that all phenomena are without inherent existence. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Purification should be done ultimately by reciting the mantra of Emptiness Wisdom Vajra. The second part is the main practice, which is divided into five parts: The first part is the peaceful homa, which includes four aspects: preparations that do not belong to the ritual, preparations that belong to the ritual, the main practice, and the subsequent procedures. First, on the auspicious evening of the waxing moon, choose an auspicious place and make a smooth, white platform that is no smaller than one cubit in length. On the surface of the platform, draw a crossed Dharmodaya with white pigment, with vajra corners and fire mountains on the four corners, and a four-petaled lotus in the center. In the center of the lotus, draw a dark blue bam (Tibetan: བཾ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: वं, Sanskrit Romanization: vaṃ, literal meaning: seed syllable), and on the petals, draw the four syllables ha (Tibetan: ཧ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: ह, Sanskrit Romanization: ha, literal meaning: seed syllable), ri (Tibetan: རི་, Sanskrit Devanagari: रि, Sanskrit Romanization: ri, literal meaning: seed syllable), ni (Tibetan: ནི་, Sanskrit Devanagari: णि, Sanskrit Romanization: ṇi, literal meaning: seed syllable), and sa (Tibetan: སའི་, Sanskrit Devanagari: स्, Sanskrit Romanization: s, literal meaning: seed syllable), representing the life of a hundred thousand Dakinis, each with a color corresponding to its own lineage. It is important to avoid using black and other mixed colors for the pigments, etc.; red and white are important. On the stove, pile up poplar, willow, fig, and other milky firewood, or animal-free cow dung, into a round shape, and soak it with white sandalwood water mixed with milk. Set up the fire source in the southeast direction. Erect four arrows at the four corners of the stove platform, connected with white threads, and cover them with white silk. Erect red arrows and banners in the southeast corner. Nearby, in front of oneself, place a filled container with the mouth facing down. Vajra bell, skull drum, incense water, flower containers, and mustard seeds, etc., for inspiring the vows. On one's left, place milk, rice, and silver powder, and six round tormas made of white butter mixed with white flowers, in two sizes for the deceased and the non-deceased. Prepare white double-layered cloths and two sets of toothbrushes. Five sets of kusha grass. Medicine, rakta, and daily necessities. The articles for the tsok. On the right, prepare the materials for the homa, such as ghee. The wood corresponding to the activity, the peaceful wood being one finger-length (the increasing wood being one cubit long, with leaves and fruits; the subjugating wood being five or three fingers long; the wrathful wood being twelve or four fingers long), smeared with honey, sugar, and ghee. The subjugating wood is smeared with black ghee, fat, and blood. Similarly, melted ghee mixed with honey and sugar, and sesame oil for subjugation. Special materials are white sesame seeds for purifying sins, and black sesame seeds for subjugation. Saffron milk porridge, and black oil and a large amount of fat mixed with blood for subjugation. Unbroken rice, unhusked barley, barley, beans (black beans for subjugation), wheat, durva grass (cut into sections for subjugation), kusha grass.
