The Treasure Trove TD2674: 'Auspicious Melodious Sound, the Breeze of Encouragement: Questions and Answers Arising from the Biography of the Great Treasure Discoverer'. Auspicious Melodious Sound, the Breeze of Encouragement: Questions and Answers Arising from the Biography of the Great Treasure Discoverer. Auspicious Melodious Sound, the Breeze of Encouragement: Questions and Answers Arising from the Biography of the Great Treasure Discoverer. Om, may there be well-being, accomplishment, and increase!). In the context of the common biography 'Ocean of Auspicious Melodies' of the Great Treasure Discoverer Chokgyur Dechen Lingpa (藏文:མཆོག་གྱུར་བདེ་ཆེན་གླིང་པ།), here is a list of essential questions and answers: First, the meaning of the title of the biography's supplication, 'Auspiciously Whirling Melody'. Generally, supplications to the guru have many different expressions of words and meanings from the perspective of composition. However, to summarize, there are mainly rebirth supplications based on previous lives, and biography supplications based on present activities. 'Biography' (藏文:རྣམ་ཐར།) is derived from the word 'Vimoksha' (藏文:བིམོཀྵ།). 'Vi' (藏文:བི་) is a prefix, and 'Moksha' (藏文:མུ་ཙལླ།) means 'liberation'. Its fundamental meaning is similar to liberation from samsara and the lower realms. It is also like a flower blooming and flourishing. Therefore, it can be understood as clearly representing the meaning of history, like a lotus blooming, from this life to the future. Another is the unique, uncommon meaning, which is the form of liberation, that is, the embodiment of liberation. In short, the beginning and end of the realization of the guru, the supreme being, can be combined with the complete path from the Path of Accumulation to the Five Paths. Therefore, it is said to be shown through the method of pith instruction biography, which can be explained extensively. Note: From the three ways of praying for the steadfastness of the future lotus feet, here, the intermediate name, the best of auspicious substances—a white conch shell spiraling to the right—is depicted as a beautiful sound. There is a reason for this. Because depicting the white conch shell spiraling to the right symbolizes clearly showing the biography of the past, present, and future. The first argument is established because the five rebirths of the right-spiraling white conch shell have never been interrupted, presented in the form of a conch shell, and delighting all sentient beings with beautiful sound variations. Similarly, this incarnate Great Treasure Discoverer Rinpoche has also continuously been reborn as a holy being, satisfying the wishes of all those to be tamed. The second argument is established because the right-spiraling white conch shell has three excellent qualities. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Like a conch shell, the liberation of the venerable lama is endowed with three excellent qualities. That is because, like a right-spiraling white conch shell, its essence is white and auspicious, a supreme treasure. Its cause is the excellent bodhicitta (byang chub kyi sems, बोधिचित्त, bodhicitta, the mind of enlightenment), single-mindedly pure for the sake of the teachings and beings of the degenerate age, and whatever it sets its mind on, it brings all the auspiciousness of the temporary and ultimate; its form is right-spiraling, like the excellent fruition of its activities, which teaches in accordance with whatever is to be tamed, leading sentient beings to the good path of higher realms and definite goodness; its function is to proclaim a melodious sound, like the essence of bodhicitta and activities inseparable, the excellent liberation holding the unprecedented profound treasure of secret treasures, captivating the minds of fortunate ones who hear it, pacifying the suffering of the degenerate age's decline, and bestowing all the desired virtues of existence and peace. These three signs are established. Like the white right-spiraling conch shell with its excellent essence, form, and function, wherever it appears in the future, in the realms of gods, nagas, or humans, it bestows the abundance of auspiciousness. Similarly, the venerable lama, possessing the excellent cause, fruition, and essence, wherever his infinite emanations of future rebirths appear, bestows the auspiciousness of benefit and happiness to all beings to be tamed. The liberation of ultimate meaning, the non-dual basis and result, the true suchness, is combined like an illusion. The liberation of provisional meaning, a single verse, contains all the common liberations, so if one wishes to make supplications, this alone is sufficient. The description of the miraculous conduct of the four means of taming is combined in detail, like the third chapter of the Root Tantra of Illusion. In general, the biographies of previous lives are only briefly mentioned, but in the profound practice of the ten dharmas for the benefit of Tibet, in the covenant of auspicious interdependence, it is said: 'The greatness of your body, O prince, is hidden in the fortune of your father the king; look well and generate courage in your heart.' As it is said, the connection between the previous lives and the present greatness is meaningful, and as it is widely praised, the biographies of previous lives can be learned from elsewhere. This is the first of the ten wondrous tales, concerning the causes of the disputes among the monks of Yertö Monastery, etc. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
