Holding a sword in the left hand, entrust the sword to you: ‘Oṃ! I entrust the sword of cutting thoughts to you. May you cut and destroy those evil thoughts of outsiders, so that their names are obliterated and completely destroyed!’ After traṃ du, add ‘khaṭga abhiṣiñca hūṃ! (藏文：མུངྒ་རཿཨ་བྷི་ཥིཉྩ་ཧཱུྃ༔，梵文天城体：，梵文罗马拟音：muṃga raḥ abhiṣiñca hūṃ，汉语字面意思：穆嘎拉，ra，灌顶，吽！)’ Entrust in this way. To bless the torma of merit and activity, first sprinkle water on the eight obstacle tormas, and bless them with the three seed syllables. Invite the gods, demons, and the Eight Classes with their retinues by reciting ‘Ākarṣāya jaḥ! (藏文：ཨཱ་ཀཪྵཱ་ཡ་ཛཿ，梵文天城体：，梵文罗马拟音：ākarṣāya jaḥ，汉语字面意思：迎请)’ Offer Sambhara (藏文：སམྦྷ་ར་) seven times, offering it to all the gods, demons, and the Eight Classes with their retinues. ‘May they pacify the adverse conditions and obstacles of this disciple, and help all favorable conditions to be accomplished as desired.’ Offer the torma in a clean place. Regarding the actual operation of the torma empowerment: Visualize this torma as the Wrathful King Shedang Dorje (藏文：ཁྲོ་རྒྱལ་ཞེ་སྡང་རྡོ་རྗེ), with the Sage Drime Özer (藏文：དྲང་སྲོང་དྲི་མེད་འོད་ཟེར་) residing on his crown. With devotion, visualize them coming to the top of your heads, blessing your continuums. Place the torma on your head and recite: ‘Hūṃ! Great Sage, the Immaculate One, together with hundreds of thousands of celestial sages, until the disciple attains enlightenment, please grant great protection!’ After traṃ du, add ‘balinta abhiṣiñca hūṃ! (藏文：བ་ལིནྟ་ཨ་བྷི་ཥིཉྩ་ཧཱུྃ༔，梵文天城体：，梵文罗马拟音：balinta abhiṣiñca hūṃ，汉语字面意思：巴林达，灌顶，吽！)’ As in the Hayagriva (藏文：རྟ་ཕྱག་) ritual, bless through commands and fierce mantras. According to custom, here, recitations of peaceful, wrathful, and cursing mantras are performed. Note: Finally, visualize the deities of the torma dissolving into light and merging into yourselves, so that you truly become the Wrathful King. The Sage Drime (藏文：དྲང་སྲོང་དྲི་མེད་) and the Lord of Secrets (藏文：གསང་བདག་) are of the same essence, so from now on, no arrogant person, internal or external, can harm you, and you will not dare to transgress the command.’ Recite fierce mantras and curses, and admonish them to act in the same way in the future. Regard the torma of requesting the deities as nectar, granting accomplishments. Afterward, promise to keep the vows and offer the maṇḍala, etc. Finally, perform the subsequent rituals, such as offerings, praises, confessions, supplications, sending the deities, dissolving, aspirations, and auspicious wishes. In general, it is similar to what was said before, but in special cases, before the curse, the method of reciting the long knife should be used, adjusting it as appropriate.
