Through the light radiating from the heart, hook the object of visualization, merge it into (seed syllable) ཨ་ (Tibetan), अ (Sanskrit Devanagari), a (Sanskrit Romanization), unborn. Offer the torma to the obstacles and expel them. Through the blessing of mantra and mudra, burn and purify the seeds of the six realms of samsara. Hum! Listen, deceased one, son of a good lineage! Generate faith in the Lama and the deity, come here with joy and reverence, and behold this beautiful mandala. View the hell realm arising from hatred as a clear and empty mirror. Perfect the realm of the hungry ghosts caused by stinginess in the wisdom of equality. View the realm of animals caused by ignorance as the clear light of the wisdom of the Dharmadhatu. View all the beings of the human realm caused by desire as individual discriminating wisdom. View the realm of the Asuras caused by jealousy as the activity of accomplishing wisdom. Realize the beings of the three realms of the gods in the clear light of wisdom. Transform the impure six realms of samsara into the pure realm of the six wisdoms. In the emptiness of the one united mind, there is no name of purity or impurity. In this spontaneously accomplished mandala of emptiness and clarity, let your essence of awareness merge into it. Let the attendants prostrate and place the name of the deceased in the mandala. Visualize as the deity, bestow empowerment, offer desirable objects, and through burning the nameplate of the deceased, you will surely reach the state of liberation. Samaya! The auspicious long life ritual: Arrange a square precious mandala, prepare a long life vase filled with essence, as well as long life torma, long life wine, arrow, banner, and other necessary offerings. In the auspicious treasure box of self-existing wisdom, write (seed syllable) བྷྲཱུྃ (Tibetan), भ्रुं (Sanskrit Devanagari), bhrūṃ (Sanskrit Romanization), complete with the images of the sun and moon. Visualize that intense light radiates from the treasure box, gathering the life essence of all beings in samsara and nirvana. ཨཱ་ཡུརྫྙཱ་ན་ཚེ་བྷྲཱུྃ (Tibetan), आयुर्ज्ञान त्से भ्रुं (Sanskrit Devanagari), āyurjñāna tse bhrūṃ (Sanskrit Romanization), life, wisdom, long life, complete. Add this root mantra and recite it. Hum! From the precious and auspicious treasure box, emanate four swift hook goddesses, appearing as the form of Caṇḍālī. Activate all the realms of space, gather the essence of the five elements, seize the life of the powerful ones, transform the wisdom and compassion of the Buddhas into the wealth of all accomplishments. Hook with mudras and gather into the vase. Bestow empowerment from the crown of the head, accomplish the life force of the immortal vajra, obtain unchanging increase. Hum! Gather the essence of all three realms, becoming the essence of bodhicitta. Thus practicing the Vidyadhara lineage, increasing the activities of the three protectors (Avalokiteśvara, Manjushri, and Vajrapani), liberation is attained through seeing, touching, binding, and experiencing. Completing deficiencies, transferring the deceased to that place with the rope of compassion. Accompanied by the practice of Vajra longevity, all temporary and ultimate meanings, this activity of effortless accomplishment, is the heart essence of the three families, a secret path of meaning for all who connect with it. Spoken by the self-arisen fearless Padmasambhava, hidden as a treasure for the benefit of the future, may the activity of taming beings be completely fulfilled! Samaya! Gya Gya Gya! Treasure seal!
