Hūṃ hrīḥ thāṃ kṣiḥ ntu. Through union, blaze the great bliss of desire; Through liberation, realize hatred as clear emptiness; Through the activity of ascetic practice, May wisdom be firmly established. Samaya. The ultimate secret, the true meaning, Mañjuśrī, the wisdom hero, Is the great perfection of self-nature; For the sake of practicing that very thing, A teacher with view, understanding, and confidence, To a student with devotion and one-pointedness, Having abandoned outer and inner activities, Instructs thus in a secluded place: Ah! All phenomena are inherently of the nature of enlightenment; There is no need for the visualization of the generation stage. Mañjuśrī, the wisdom mind of self-perfected power, Generate it in the space of the self-arisen clear light bindu. In the primordially pure dharmakāya, which has never been mistaken, What need is there to invite and request to come? The deity who is spontaneously accomplished and without coming or going, Request him to come without artificially creating clear emptiness. In that which is without coming or going of body and wisdom, What need is there to empower, seal, and request to remain? In the state of clear light, free from elaboration, transparent awareness, The request to remain is complete in the naturally abiding, uncorrected state. Since there is no need to offer enjoyments to phenomena, the realm of awareness, body, and pure lands, The pure appearances, the vast clouds of wisdom, Are offered in the state of non-duality and equality. Since there is nothing that moves from the state of clear emptiness, The qualities are spontaneously present in the great inner space, Essence and nature are distinct and clear, I prostrate in the manner of non-duality. In the primordial state, clear as crystal, Spontaneous appearances arise everywhere like rainbows. The power of non-dual union, the play of awareness, is supreme; May the fruit ripen in the ground, may empowerment be bestowed. In order to perfect the unsurpassed appearance, Meditating without hope or fear, realizing the expanse, Like the king of views cutting through the sky, I introduce the state of the great garuda's perfected power. The essence of the heart-drop of Kunsang Manjushri, the hero, Is generously imparted to the son who is like my heart. In the state of exhaustive grasping and clinging, pervading samsara and nirvana, May the space of realization merge into one, may wisdom be perfected! The empowerment of meaningful activity, And all the introductions and practices, This instruction that combines everything into one, Will be imparted to the son of my heart. Samaya. Thus, the pinnacle of all vehicles, From the great tantra, the net of illusion, This heart-drop of Manjushri, the hero, With essence, tantra, scripture, and instructions, Was spoken by me, the self-born Padma.
