The Northern Treasure (Byangter) Phurba's practice of subduing spirits, a collection of practices suitable for any wrathful deity, is called 'Blazing Majesty, Layered Suppression.' Manifest Action Activities. Spirit Subjugation. The Northern Treasure (Byangter) Phurba's practice of subduing spirits, a collection of practices suitable for any wrathful deity, is called 'Blazing Majesty, Layered Suppression.' Manifest Action Activities. Spirit Subjugation. Preparation: Arranging the support for visualization. The Northern Treasure (Byangter) Phurba's practice of subduing spirits, a collection of practices suitable for any wrathful deity, is called 'Blazing Majesty, Layered Suppression.' Namo Guru Maha Krodhaya (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音, Homage to the Great Wrathful One). With the power of the three secrets blazing, Subduing the three doors of delusion into the expanse of liberation, I pay homage to the Lama Heruka (Heruka, हेरुक, Heruka, Wrathful deity) and the glorious principal deity, Grant the power to accomplish my words as vajra. Although the previous accomplished ones have clarified it, It is for the benefit of others, not for my own purpose. Not for competition, but for necessity, I reveal the common practice clearly. That is, due to the illusion of one's own perception, and the power of negative karma and aspirations, they are formed into the body of spirits and cause harm and obstruction to all beings. The origins of the thirteen minor karmic spirits are explained in the Northern Treasure Phurba and Kagye Rangshar. The procedures for subduing them are clearly stated, Taking this as the basis, and combining it with the method of Wangte Trulgyi Gyalpo extracting the lineage of spirits from the Naktsi 'Precious Collection of Elements' tantra, and supplementing it with the practices of spirit subjugation performed by the previous vidyadharas, although it seems that most are applied only to Phurba. Therefore, nowadays, according to the individual practitioner's practice, adapting it to Kagye, Hayagriva Phurba, Guru Dragpo, etc., as appropriate, here I will explain only the general practice, in three parts: Preparation: Arranging the support for visualization; Main practice: Placing it in the fortress of wrath; Conclusion: Driving in the pegs of action. Firstly, in the Kagye tradition, there is the peg practice of subduing based on the skull, and in the Northern Treasure Phurba's spirit subjugation practice, only the method of writing mantras on the skull is mentioned. In the 'Precious Collection of Elements' tantra, only skull subjugation is mentioned, and no special linga is mentioned. However, according to current practice, the main reliance is on the linga, so on inauspicious days, dark side days, Phungsum days (the third day of a month), Dudnyi days (inauspicious day), etc., which are praised for wrathful activities, --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
