By continuously engaging in the meditation and recitation of the Yidam (Tibetan: ཡི་དམ་, meaning: personal deity for practice), making offerings and confessions to the Dharmapalas (Tibetan: ཆོས་སྐྱོང་), and performing rituals such as Sang (Tibetan: བསང་, meaning: a type of incense offering) and offering golden beverages (Tibetan: གསེར་སྐྱེམས་, meaning: a type of ritual libation), one will surely be able to overcome difficulties. Additionally, regarding protective measures against hail: Visualize oneself instantaneously transforming into a nine-pointed vajra (Tibetan: རྡོ་རྗེ་, Sanskrit: वज्र, Romanization: vajra, literal meaning: diamond scepter) made of meteorite iron, with its points raised like horns, from which flames of wisdom are blazing. In the entire sky above, visualize a thousand-spoked wheel made of gold, with the Bhagavan Shakyamuni Buddha (Tibetan: བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཤཱཀྱ་ཐུབ་པ་, meaning: Shakyamuni Buddha) at the center of the wheel. On the spokes of the wheel, visualize the thousand Buddhas of the Fortunate Aeon (Tibetan: བསྐལ་པ་བཟང་པོའི་སངས་རྒྱས་སྟོང་, meaning: the thousand Buddhas of the fortunate eon) absorbed in uncontaminated meditative concentration. Below, visualize a vast ocean, dark blue and ablaze with flames. In all directions and corners, visualize a vajra fence ablaze with flames, filling the entire space without any gaps. Then, mentally recite: 'Ni Naga Dza Munti Ah (Tibetan: ནི་ནཱ་ག་ཛ་མུནྟི་ཨཿ)', keeping the mind unwavering, and one will surely be able to overcome difficulties. There is also the saying 'Nir Ga Dza Munti Ah (Tibetan: ནིར་ག་ཛ་མུནྟི་ཨཿ)', and either can be recited. If making a protective amulet, on blue paper, draw a six-pointed Dharmodaya (Tibetan: ཆོས་འབྱུང་, meaning: source of dharma) in gold. Above, write the mantra, and below, write: 'May the one who carries this be protected from the magical powers of the Eight Classes (Tibetan: སྡེ་བརྒྱད་, meaning: the eight classes of gods and demons) in conflict and the fear of hail, may they be protected, protected (Tibetan: རཀྵ་རཀྵཿ)'. On the six corners, write 'RAKSHA (Tibetan: རཀྵ)' in the front and 'Om (Tibetan: ཨོཾ, Sanskrit: ओम्, Romanization: om, literal meaning: Om)' in the back. On the four corners, write 'Ha Bam Ta Ksha (Tibetan: ཧ་བཾ་ཏ་ཀྵ་)' clockwise from the southeast. Then, consecrate it by reciting one hundred times one's own mantra and the 'Ye Dharma (Tibetan: ཡེ་དྷརྨཱ་, Sanskrit: ये धर्मा हेतुप्रभवा, Romanization: ye dharmā hetuprabhavā, literal meaning: all dharmas arise from a cause)' verse. Wearing it together with the five precious jewels will surely provide protection. Hanging it in houses and tents will also provide protection. To protect crops from frost damage: For dry frost, collect various water sources, especially rainwater, snow water, the flow of large rivers, and the milk of white female goats and red female cows, mix in dragon medicine (Tibetan: ཀླུ་སྨན་, meaning: a type of herb), maintain cleanliness, and recite the following mantra: 'Om Ah Hum Vajra Guru Padma Siddhi Hum (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་ཨཱཿཧཱུྃ་བཛྲ་གུ་རུ་པདྨ་སིདྡྷི་ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit: ओम् आः हूँ वज्र गुरु पद्म सिद्धि हूँ, Romanization: oṃ āḥ hūṃ vajra guru padma siddhi hūṃ, literal meaning: Om Ah Hum Vajra Guru Padma Siddhi Hum). Om Naga Bumpa Shig. Dza Tri Chum. Uproot the weeds. Naga Ratsa Khatham.' Recite as much as possible, such as one hundred thousand times. Then, have an eight-year-old boy and a twelve-year-old girl sprinkle the mantra water on the fields with wooden buckets. For wet frost, mix the above mantra water with sand and the powder of the five precious jewels, recite as many mantras as possible, and have men born in the years of the Dog, Dragon, Ox, or Sheep sprinkle it. If the fields are too large to sprinkle completely, then sprinkle in the center and four directions of each field. Visualize oneself appearing as the Great Compassionate Avalokiteśvara, with the right hand bestowing blessings, from which flows an immeasurable stream of nectar, washing away all crop diseases and frost damage like a large crow chasing away insects, and flowing down to nine levels below the earth. Then loudly recite the six-syllable mantra (Tibetan: ཡིག་དྲུག་, Sanskrit: षडक्षरी, Romanization: ṣaḍakṣarī, literal meaning: six letters). There are also other special mantras: 'Om Mani P' --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
