Phywa: Auspiciousness! The essence of food is that which is oily and smooth; the essence of wealth is that which is smoky and clear. May auspiciousness never decline; may wealth never diminish. Auspiciousness, ho! May you grant the auspiciousness of the wheel that controls all; may you grant the auspiciousness of gathering power. May you grant the auspiciousness of the wish-fulfilling jewel that dispels darkness; may you grant the auspiciousness of fulfilling all needs. May you grant the auspiciousness of the queen who gives birth to all; may you grant the auspiciousness of beauty and glory. May you grant the auspiciousness of the minister who accomplishes inner and outer purposes; may you grant the auspiciousness of pervasive majesty. May you grant the auspiciousness of the great, powerful elephant; may you grant the auspiciousness of great power and subjugation. May you grant the auspiciousness of the intelligent, strong, supreme horse; may you grant the auspiciousness of traversing to great bliss. May you grant the auspiciousness of the general who destroys the army of wrong views; may you grant the auspiciousness of victory over the maras. May the seven precious jewels of the Chakravartin (universal monarch) be auspicious; may all of us, together with our retinue, accomplish everything completely today. Auspiciousness, ho! Having summoned all the auspiciousness and wealth of the phenomenal world and its contents, may they be absorbed into the substances of accomplishment, and may they increase for us. May the aspirations of this day be spontaneously fulfilled; may you grant the auspiciousness of auspiciousness and wealth. Thus, auspiciousness is invoked. Then, the patrons offer good cushions and good clothes, etc., holding in their hands the substances of auspiciousness, arrows, banners, and torma (ritual cakes), etc., to increase the accomplishments. The accomplishments are urged: Hum: From the eastern direction, the deity who urges accomplishment, Vajra Garland of Skulls, who performs peaceful actions, whose nature is peaceful, whose body color is white and radiant, who wears white garments, exceedingly beautiful. With two hands holding a vajra (diamond scepter), an iron hook, and a damaru (hand drum), urging the samaya (sacred bond) of the Vajra Dakinis (sky dancers), may you pacify diseases, evil spirits, obstacles, and hindrances for us, the teachers, disciples, patrons, and retinue.
