The essence of my own mind is Padmasambhava. The Secret Lord subdues all arrogance. His body is dark blue-black, in the form of a Rakshasa. His face is wrathful, his mouth open, his fangs bared. His tongue curls, and with the sounds of Hum Phat Phem, he shakes the three realms and trembles the three existences. From his eyebrows, beard, and mustache, flames blaze and hail and thunder rage. His hair is red-yellow, swirling at the peak of existence. His hair is adorned with five dry skull types. His right hand brandishes a nine-pronged vajra, and his left hand holds a lasso and an iron hook. May the afflictions of the water planet be pacified! May the afflictions of the fire planet be pacified! May the afflictions of the wind planet be pacified! May the afflictions of the emptiness planet be pacified! May the afflictions of the four elements' planets be pacified! May the poison of seeing the great planet be pacified! May the poison of the breath of the great planet be pacified! The touch of the great planet, may all the poison of impure and deluded contact be pacified, Śāntiṃ Kuru Ye Svāhā! The actual method of expelling poison: Hūṃ! If the source of poison is explained, from ignorance arise the five poisons! In the past, in bygone kalpas, from hatred arose the poison of fire! From desire arose the poison of water! From pride arose the poison of earth! From jealousy arose the poison of wind! From delusion arose the poison of space!
