Regarding the method of identification (གཟུང་བ་ནི): Generally, there are many signs, but the specific signs are: repeatedly recite the life mantra (སྲོག་སྔགས) of the Garuda (ཁྱུང་), pour the mantra water into the patient's body, and then have them spit it out. At this time, the patient's complexion will change, their eyes will turn red, their hair will stand on end, their pulse will be tense, their breathing will be uneven, their thumb will become smaller, their life pulse will beat violently or swell, or blisters and wounds will appear. For these conditions, the treatment methods are divided into drastic and mild: use drastic hot medicines to eliminate heat, and use drastic therapies to treat; if cold symptoms occur, use mild therapies to treat. First, administer the three heroic medicines (དཔའ་བོ་གསུམ་པ་): one part aconite (ར་དུག), five parts Aconitum heterophyllum (ཐར་ནུ), five parts Terminalia chebula (ཨ་རུ་ར), mix and make into pills the size of mustard seeds, take five to seven doses, and the evil will be killed. If the condition spreads, wrap it externally with three black medicines: mix fresh feces of dogs, humans, yaks, or cattle and apply. If the pain is severe, you can use a mixed medicine of eight weapons (མཚོན་ཆ་བརྒྱད་སྦྱར): one part Aconitum heterophyllum, three parts Acorus calamus (ཆུ་རྩ), three parts fish meat, four parts tiger meat, half part poison (བཙན་དུག), half part འཛིན་པ་, four parts spreading poison (ལྷོག་དུག་པ་), one part musk (གླ་རྩི་), mix and take in urine. In terms of diet, you can eat beef, pork, etc. You can drink sour wine, white sugar, take hot medicines, and five tonic medicines: musk, Hyoscyamus niger (བོང་ང་), Lepidium apetalum, Guggul (གུ་གུལ), Terminalia chebula mixed and taken. Wrap externally with five medicines: Acorus calamus, rock lichen, puffball, dog feces, and Lepidium apetalum. If vacuoles appear, fumigation therapy can be performed: mix Acorus calamus (སྤང་སྤོས), Drosera peltata (སྤུ་ཤེལ་ཙེ), white klu bdud (ཀླུ་བདུད་དཀར་པོ), black spreading poison in yogurt, and perform warm or cold fumigation therapy, combining hot and cold therapies. You can take Guggul, Borneol (ག་པུར), Ligusticum striatum (ཅུ་གང་), Coptis chinensis (ཧོང་ལེན). If the evil enters the body, expel it from the outside: pour the fierce mantra of the Garuda into the body, use the power of the mantra to make the swelling appear, and then expel it. If the condition persists for a long time, perform purgative treatment from the root: half part Terminalia chebula (ha shig), half part Glauber's salt (rgya tshwa), five parts Ranunculus, saffron (gur gum), add musk for purgative treatment. If the body is weak, perform tonic therapy: boil fresh meat to take, there is no harm.
