From the Great Treasure Trove TD1863, 'The Heart Practice that Dispels All Obstacles': The Activity and Empowerment of the Vidyadhara Raksha Thod Treng, entitled 'Nectar that Subdues Mara'. This is the activity and empowerment of the Supreme Ling Raksha Thod Treng in Peaceful Activities. Namo Guru Raksha Heruka! The body blazing from the sphere of wisdom, the great slayer of demonic enemies and oath-breakers. King Raksha Thod Treng, grant blessings to completely subdue all inner and outer obstacles! Here, to engage in the activity of Vajrakila, the antidote to sudden calamities, evil spirits, and obstructions, namely the Wrathful Guru Raksha Thod Treng, there are two necessary components: activity and empowerment. First, there are three parts: preliminary, main part, and concluding part. Preliminary: In the innermost part of the room, arrange supports such as painted images of the samaya deities. In a skull cup or vessel of copper or iron, place a torma mixed with blood-wine, made into an imposing triangular pyramid shape, surrounded by hooks, adorned with a volcano design, and sprinkled with spices. On the right and left of the main image, place medicine and blood-wine. In front, arrange wrathful offerings on a clean table. Gather the necessary implements such as tormas and tsok. Recite the lineage prayer and offer white torma and golden drink to the local deities. Refuge: Namo! Guru, the lord who pervades all lineages! Yidam, the source of all siddhis! Assembly of dakinis who dispel all obstacles! I take refuge in the Three Roots! Recite three times. Ho! For the sake of all mother sentient beings attaining the state of perfect Buddhahood, I will abandon all misdeeds, accumulate all virtues, and constantly generate the altruistic bodhicitta! Recite three times. Continuously recite the confession: Vajra Master, Buddha Glorious! etc., and contemplate the Four Immeasurables. In an instant, transform oneself into the form of the Great Glorious Vajrakila. Offer the exorcism torma. Purify with RAM YAM KHAM. From emptiness, from BHRAM arises a precious vessel, deep and vast, filled with torma, complete with perfect color, smell, taste, power, and potency. Bless with OM AH HUM HA HOH HRIH. Invite the guests with SARVA BHUTA AKARSHAYA JAH. Instruction: Hūṃ hrīḥ! All the hordes of demons, obstacles, and elemental spirits arising from the delusion of dualistic appearance, enjoy this torma and depart to your respective abodes! If you do not leave, with the weapon of the vajra, with the dance of wrathful vajra, I will utterly subdue you! Thus, with fierce mantras and musical instruments, seal the boundary. Protection Wheel: Hūṃ hrīḥ! I am the glorious great Padmāvaṅga's form, all of saṃsāra and nirvāṇa are perfected in the mudrā of body, speech, and mind. The non-dual wisdom, the state of deity, mantra, and dharmakāya, the maṇḍala of the boundary is spontaneously accomplished. Hūṃ sarva krodha tīkṣṇa jvāla raṃ raṃ dharma dhātu jñāna śuddhe aḥ! Rakṣa rakṣa hūṃ phaṭ! Confession: Ho! The sugata-garbha, the naturally luminous essence, due to the power of delusion, I have falsely slandered and accused. All the faults of straying onto the wrong path, I confess in the state of non-dual transcendence of mind. Samaya śuddhe aḥ! Bestowing Blessings: Hūṃ hrīḥ! The name of the place is the southwestern Raksha Continent, from the palace of glory, the Padma Light, the root of the three combined Raksha Skull Garland Power, the wrathful one who subdues demons, along with the retinue of messengers, without forgetting the previous promise, upon the outer, inner, and secret maṇḍala samayas, bestow the great vajra blessings of body, speech, and mind, empower and bless the supreme practitioners! Oṃ āḥ hūṃ vajra guru deva ḍākinī jñāna āveśaya ā ā! Blessing the Offerings: Raṃ yaṃ khaṃ! With fire, wind, and water, purify the clinging to objects and conceptual obscurations. From the state of emptiness, the field of great secret play arises. From Hūṃ, all the outer, inner, and secret offering clouds arise. The aggregates, elements, and sense bases are primordially pure. Bless them into the fierce substances of the charnel ground. Oṃ vajra argham... śabda pañca kāma guṇa mahā sarva pūja samaye āḥ hūṃ! Oṃ sarva pañca amṛta mahā rakta baliṃta āḥ hūṃ! Purify, realize, and sprinkle three times. Secondly, in the main part of the ritual, generating the samayasattva: Hūṃ! In the sphere of the unconditioned suchness, from the spontaneously accomplished awareness, arises the seed syllable Hūṃ, blue-black, like the sun in the sky, with the rays of great blazing light, purify the outer and inner clinging to objects into emptiness.
