Namo Guru (Homage to the Guru)! The order of subduing thieves offered by Namkhai Nyingpo to Orgyen Padmasambhava: As stated in the chakra, when going out, wear it on the belt. When sleeping at night, place it on the right side and strike it three times. If placed in the house, thieves will not come. If placed in the stable, livestock will not be taken by thieves. The chakra is: Write this mantra in the belly of Damchen Kyesbu (Guardian Deity): Om idam rakta tsa mun maraya do nub kyi tso ri'i nying khrag rus pa dur wa dam can sngon po dgra jag rkun gsum chings shig! (Romanized Sanskrit) Om, this, blood, tsa, mun, maraya, tonight, thief, heart, blood, bone, tomb, Damchen, blue, enemy, robber, thief, oath! (Literal Chinese meaning) In the center of the mantra, smear tri (ཏྲི) with horse blood. In its belly, smear nri (ནྲྀ) with human blood. Purify with स्वाभाव (svabhāva). From emptiness, visualize the great Damchen Kyesbu (Guardian Deity), with a dark blue-black body, like an iron tree, burning with flames, emitting red-black sparks, and blazing flames. The eyes are red and fiery, and poisonous fumes emanate from the nostrils. The right hand holds a vajra, and the left hand holds the heart of the enemy. Both feet stand on a lotus sun disc and the enemy demon, the right leg stepping on the heart of the enemy demon with the strength of Gyelpa, and the left knee pressing on the secret place. Visualize subduing all the enemies and thieves in all directions, and recite the mantra a hundred times. On the auspicious day of the star (skar ma rgyal), burn butter incense. When the enemy is strong, wrap it from the head. The instruction offered by Namkhai Nyingpo to Orgyen Padmasambhava is extremely profound. Khatam ( ختم, end). Another practice: The iron chain chakra for subduing thieves by Damchen (Guardian Deity): On a piece of paper four fingers wide and one arm's length, on the day of the auspicious star (skar ma rgyal), write with ink mixed with human blood. Grind garlic, Aucklandia, gugul, Giva wood, agarwood, white sandalwood, Indian ink, and a slightly larger amount of musk into powder and apply it. Then apply butter. For the color: if you want to see the enemy thieves wearing armor, use blue; if you want to see men, use white; if you want to see many women, use blue; if you want to see many monks, use red.
