We, along with our retinue, offer this ransom for life. May those who are captured, bound, and imprisoned be liberated. Do not create obstacles to life, do not cause harm or opposition, Be a friend in accomplishing enlightenment! The mountains and rivers of the enemy's land are filled with Buddhas, and from the bodies of these Buddhas emanate various weapons, destroying the eyes, ears, noses, crowns, throats, and hearts of all enemies who harbor evil intentions, sow discord, and create trouble, reducing them to dust, so that even their names are obliterated without a trace. Recite: Namo! The words of the glorious root and lineage gurus are true, the Buddhas, Dharma, Sangha, the deities of the mandala of the yidam, the protectors and dakinis, by the power of truth of the pure realm of Dharma and the infallible cause and effect of samsara, and by the power of truth of our pure intention, and by the blessing of the great power of truth, may all omens that harm the life and activities of the glorious guru so-and-so be turned back upon the enemy! Or recite: May all omens that harm us, the patrons and retinue, be turned back upon the enemy! May all external enemies' evil thoughts be turned back upon the enemy! May all fears from enemies and thieves be turned back upon the enemy! May all slanders and disputes be turned back upon the enemy! May all evil intentions and quarrels be turned back upon the enemy! May all evil thoughts, all harsh actions, all disharmonious negative factors be turned back upon the enemy! Māraya phaṭ! Each time the word 'turn back' is recited, clap your hands once. If you want to accumulate numbers, add it after the previous sentence. Finally, throw the torma and the substances of human aversion towards the enemy. Visualize the protective wheel of the yidam, and recite the dedication and auspicious prayers. Thus, there is no doubt that untimely death, curses, evil speech, slander, etc., can be averted. The original ancient text states that in the practice of the Black Mother, one should visualize the deity and the black nectar letters, while the colors of the other two are not mentioned. In the Padma section, in the white category, it is said to meditate on white Shakyamuni. Other documents also record this, so one should trust the oral instructions of the lineage of gurus. May this (merit) pacify all past karma and present conditions of sentient beings filled with suffering in the ocean of samsara, and may body and mind be blessed with happiness! Padma Garwang Tsal, with the intention of benefiting self and others, has compiled this profound, practical, and easy-to-carry Dharma text. May goodness increase!
