Da Bao Fu Zang TD1642, The general purification ritual for Yidam, whether performed for the deceased or the living, is meaningful for all who are connected, and is the excellent path to the Sukhavati Pure Land. A branch of the general collection, the purification ritual. Homage to the Buddha! Whether it is the elaborate or concise ritual of Amitābha, or relying on the ritual of Bhaiṣajyaguru, to burn the name plaque of the deceased or the living, or to handle the corpse, the method is the same as the self-front vase empowerment (self-generation of the deity, front-placed deity, vase empowerment). The special feature is that after completing the prayer sequence of Bhaiṣajyaguru, light radiates from the body of the front-placed deity, and one visualizes oneself as the sole form of the main Bhaiṣajyaguru. And contemplate that the vows and wisdom are inseparable. In the vase, from the light of the front-placed deity, the accomplished eight brothers of Bhaiṣajyaguru and the assembly of Bodhisattvas appear, as clear as images in a mirror. From their bodies descends a stream of nectar, filling the vase. Recite the long and short mantras to the best of one's ability. Finally, visualize the light dissolving, and the water in the vase is inseparable from oneself. The abiding ritual is also the same. Visualize the image and the seed syllable (Sanskrit: Nṛ, Tibetan: ནྲྀ་, Devanagari: नृ, Roman transliteration: Nṛ, literal meaning: none) and the name plaque. If simplifying, visualize the seed syllable is sufficient. Oṃ Amṛte Hūṃ Phaṭ. Oṃ Svabhāvas Suddhaḥ Sarva Dharmāḥ Svabhāvo Suddho Ham. From emptiness, from the seed syllable (Sanskrit: Nṛ, Tibetan: ནྲྀ་, Devanagari: नृ, Roman transliteration: Nṛ, literal meaning: none), visualize the object written with the name plaque appearing, its aggregates, realms, and components are all complete, appearing as they are. From one's heart, red light radiates, shooting like an iron hook in ten directions, hooking and capturing the consciousness of the intermediate state, the red syllable Āḥ (Sanskrit: Āḥ, Tibetan: ཨཱཿ, Devanagari: आः, Roman transliteration: Āḥ, literal meaning: Ah) with light, entering the heart from the crown chakra, or the corpse has been taken away, or if it is a living person, visualize hooking with light, inseparable from the name plaque. Form the Vajra fist mudra, slightly bend the two index fingers, align and extend the two little fingers, place them on top of the corpse or name plaque, and recite: Namo! I pray for the truthfulness of the compassionate root guru and lineage gurus, I pray for the truthfulness of the Three Jewels, I pray for the truthfulness of the mandala deities of the four tantra classes of Yidam, I pray for the truthfulness of the completely pure Dharma nature, I pray for the truthfulness of the infallible cause and effect, especially I pray for the truthfulness of the mandala retinue of the Bhagavan Mahābhiṣak, with this great truthfulness, whether it is the deceased so-and-so, or the name plaque with the name of the object written on it, wherever they are in the three realms, six paths, or intermediate state, please come here immediately. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
