如果梦见没有树干和树枝的树，这是咒语不完整的征兆。 如果想去执行事务，却梦见没有工具，念珠断裂，委托他人做事却不被听从，去了空房子，拿着空容器，这些都表示所需物品没有凑齐。 如果咒语中断，梦见箭没有箭头，刀没有刀刃，武器尖端断裂，空谷，这表示咒语中断。 如果咒语出错，梦见上师攻击自己，阿阇梨用汉语说话，大人物发来信息，这些都表示咒语出错。 如果物品没有凑齐，梦见卡擦（指某种容器或工具）丢失，容器没有底，自己打扫外面的场地，这表示拥有的物品丢失了。 此外，如果梦见自己清理家里的粪便，洗澡，飞行，这表示卡擦会减少。 又问：‘什么迹象表明咒语的主尊听从我？什么迹象表明进入了事业？什么迹象表明事业成就？什么迹象表明正在执行事务？什么是象征的迹象？什么迹象表明咒语适合添加力量？’ 莲花生大士回答说：‘任何显现的亲近、修持、事业的迹象都算。特别是奴隶被征服，驱赶牲畜等等都是。进入事业的迹象是：梦见砍树，拆毁城堡，投掷石块，战斗，领兵，狩猎，亲手杀死敌人等等，这些都表示进入了事业。’ ‘没有完成的迹象是：梦见树倒塌，耕田，吃心脏，切断命脉，煮肉并吃掉，这些都表示事业已经完成。象征的迹象是拿着武器，后来又交还。咒语适合添加力量的迹象是：武器交付给自己，敲打刀和矛，给予许多箭和箭头，这表示咒语的力量已经添加，适合进行猛烈的行为。’ 上师这样告诫国王。阿底（Athi）！国王满意地记录了下来。愿具悲心的莲花生大士和具有业缘的国王二人，咒语的结解开！愿智慧的疑惑解开！愿佛法得到完全守护！在五百末法时期，当真理无法调伏，正法衰落之时，密咒被当成苯教念诵之时，誓言因为破损而力量微弱，隐蔽之处因为过失而护法懈怠，不守誓言者...

If you dream of a tree without a trunk and branches, it is a sign that the mantra is incomplete. If you want to go to perform a task, but dream of having no tools, the rosary is broken, entrusting others to do things but not being listened to, going to an empty house, holding an empty container, these all indicate that the necessary items have not been gathered. If the mantra is interrupted, dream of an arrow without an arrowhead, a knife without a blade, the tip of a weapon is broken, an empty valley, this indicates that the mantra is interrupted. If the mantra is wrong, dream of the master attacking oneself, the Acarya speaking in Chinese, a great person sending a message, these all indicate that the mantra is wrong. If the items are not gathered, dream of the Kacha (referring to a certain container or tool) being lost, the container has no bottom, oneself cleaning the outside area, this indicates that the owned items are lost. In addition, if you dream of cleaning the feces of your house, taking a bath, flying, this indicates that the Kacha will decrease. Again asked: 'What are the signs that the owner of the mantra listens to me? What are the signs that one has entered the activity? What are the signs that the activity is accomplished? What are the signs that one is performing the activity? What are the symbolic signs? What are the signs that the mantra is suitable for adding power?' Guru Rinpoche replied: 'Any signs of approaching, practicing, and activity that appear are all counted. In particular, slaves being conquered, driving livestock, etc., are all signs. The signs of entering the activity are: dreaming of cutting down trees, demolishing castles, throwing stones, fighting, leading troops, hunting, personally killing enemies, etc., these all indicate entering the activity.' 'The signs of not completing are: dreaming of a tree falling, plowing fields, eating a heart, cutting off the life vein, cooking meat and eating it, these all indicate that the activity has been completed. The symbolic sign is holding a weapon, and later returning it. The signs that the mantra is suitable for adding power are: weapons being handed over to oneself, striking knives and spears, giving many arrows and arrowheads, this indicates that the power of the mantra has been added, and it is suitable for performing fierce actions.' The master thus admonished the king. Athi! The king was satisfied and recorded it. May the compassionate Guru Rinpoche and the king with karmic connections, the knots of the mantra be untied! May the doubts of wisdom be untied! May the Dharma be fully protected!
