With reverence and humility, all arrogant ones and their retinues pledge to abide by the oath. Handing the Torma (sacrificial cake) into their hands, recite: 'Kye! The red palace sways gracefully, the owl circles at the top, entrusting this as a symbol of residence to you, may the arrogant ones forever reside here!' Sanskrit Romanization: Raksha ma dha la hum svaha, Rakshasa, do not, give, seed syllable, accomplishment). And all the emanated beings of the three realms, you! Dharmakāya (Body of Truth) Amitābha (Infinite Light), Sambhogakāya (Body of Enjoyment) Padma Wangchen (Powerful Lotus), Nirmāṇakāya (Emanation Body) Padma Thötreng (Lotus Garland of Skulls), Vidyādhara (Knowledge Holder) Padma Wanggyal (Lotus King), Drikung Rinchen Püntsok, Prince Kunzang (All Good), the source of the teachings, Rinchen Dargyé, Guhyapati Vajrapani (Lord of Secrets Vajrapani) Trinlé Lhündrup (Spontaneous Accomplishment of Activities), Zur Chöying Rangdröl, Künkhyen Dorjé Tokmé, Rigdzin Gyurme Dorjé, and so on, all the root and lineage gurus, do not transgress their commands and vows...' etc., recite detailed or concise supplications as appropriate. Second, relying on the Bla-rdho (Soul Stone): Visualize the deity in front, the essence of the life force (Srog) of the arrogant ones appearing as red and black 'Tri' syllables, accompanied by the life mantra (Srog-sngags), you yourself appearing as Hayagriva (Horse-necked One), the life essence dissolving into the hook below the 'Hūṃ' (seed syllable) at your heart, merging with it indistinguishably, and being absorbed as the life force of the arrogant ones. Place the soul stone at the throat, hand it over, and recite: 'Soul stone, wheel of life, secret mantra, swift as an arrow, fast as lightning, entrusting this symbol of calling and subduing to you, may the stream of life be forever connected!' Recite: Oṃ rakṣa rakṣa snying la hūṃ hūṃ (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་རཀྴ་རཀྴ་སྙིང་ལ་ཧཱུྃ་ཧཱུྃ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: ओं रक्ष रक्ष हੂੰ हੂੰ, Sanskrit Romanization: Om raksha raksha hūṃ hūṃ, Om, protect, protect, heart, seed syllable, seed syllable), śu la grī va tri śu la hrīṃ hrīṃ jaḥ jaḥ (Tibetan: ཤུ་ལ་གྲཱི་ཝ་ཏྲི་ཤུ་ལ་ཧྲཱིང་ཧྲཱིང་ཛཿཛཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: शु ल ग्री व त्रि शु ल ह्रीं ह्रीं जः जः, Sanskrit Romanization: Shu la gri va tri shu la hring hring dza dza, spear, neck, three, spear, accomplishment, accomplishment, descend, descend). The Yakshas (nature spirits) and their servants, with great reverence, offer their respective symbols as accomplishments, the arrogant ones are conquered as servants, possessing the power to accomplish the four activities without hindrance, and are regarded as weapons for protecting the Dharma. After visualizing, place the red spear on the right and the rope on the left, and recite: 'The inseparable life oath, the red spear and rope are symbols of power, Padma Wangchen (Powerful Lotus) holds the oath, entrusting this symbol of activity to you!' Recite: Rakṣa karma dza bhyo rbad (Tibetan: རཀྴ་ཀརྨ་ཛ་བྷྱོ་རྦད།, Sanskrit Devanagari: रक्ष कर्म ज भ्यो र्बद, Sanskrit Romanization: Raksha karma dza bhyo rbad, protect, action, born, give, destroy), and place the spear and rope on the right.

etc. Thus, the life entrustment ritual of the seven great Yakshas has been completely accomplished according to the tradition of the lineage lamas. From now on, strive to serve and make offerings to this lord of protectors through the outer, inner, and secret assemblies of support. Furthermore, it is crucial to cherish having the confidence of the view of reality, knowing that the prideful ones are not separate from one's own mind. It is said: 'The fierce seven Rakshasas appear as emanations arising from one's own mind, complete as one in the non-dual ultimate truth; know them to be one's own mind.' Do not eat the meat of red horses or wild donkeys, do not wear clothes of those who have killed monks, do not engage in sexual misconduct with widows or sisters, do not use weapons, do not engage in harmful actions such as bribery to those who harm, do not strike jackals or crows, do not destroy stoves, do not interrupt the monthly and seasonal tormas, and especially cherish offering prayers on the eighth day of each month. If vows are broken, the protector will become one's own executioner. The tantra says: 'The order of conduct and vows is: abandon meat of miraculous power, do not wear inverted clothes, do not spread bear or tiger skin as a seat, do not kill with sharp mantras, do not block the path of one's own anger, do not break the turquoise arrow of life, do not fan the symbolic ashes with wind, do not release misty vapors, do not miss the appointed time, if there is no horse, one cannot use it, if vows are not kept, blessings will decline, if the deity is not propitiated, it will revert to oneself.' It also says: 'If vows are broken, one cuts off one's own life; if offerings are missed, one brings misfortune.' Therefore, strive to uphold the vows. Offering the thanksgiving mandala, as promised by the chief (protector), is common, and the subsequent ritual of the visualized deity in front is as described above. For the benefit of oneself and fortunate beings, Rinchen Namgyal Gyalwa wrote this concise and clear method of accomplishment and life entrustment of the seven protector Yakshas. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
