Thus, the assembly of seventy protectors, In the beginning of the eon, The Bhagavan Great Glorious Heruka, Granted vows and entrusted the responsibility of protection. Thereafter, in the miraculous temple of Rasa (Lhasa), Guru Padmasambhava (Lotus-Born) adorned with a skull garland, To the sovereign Trisong Detsen (king of Tibet) and his sons, Yeshe Tsogyal (consort of Padmasambhava), etc., To all the king's subjects and retinue, Bestowed the great accomplishment empowerment of the noble one who liberates from samsara, At that time, Mahakala (Great Black One) and his sister and, Seventy-five protectors, Actually manifested their own forms, Each offered the essence of their life force. In order to protect the Buddha's teachings, And the practitioners who practice the true Dharma, Accomplish the four activities of pacifying, increasing, magnetizing, and subjugating, For the sake of practice, Protecting the excellent Dharma wheel, etc., Having vowed and promised, do not forget, Accept this adorned torma (ritual cake), Destroy all enemies, Subdue all obstacles, Accomplish the four activities!
