Taming Māra and ṛṣis, taming the yellow Yama and rākṣasas, taming the red nāgas and wind gods, taming the greenish-black yakṣas and obstructors, the nine-faced dog messengers radiate rays of restraint and sin. The nine-faced buffalo subdues makaras and turtles, the nine-faced iron deity intimidates tigers and lions, the nine-faced copper deity radiates the light of civets and weasels, the nine-faced conch subdues crows and red-billed choughs. The sky dog drops hailstones, the buffalo dog scatters birds, the garuda dog scatters clawed beasts, the tiger dog scatters wild animals, filling the sky and earth. Eight iron she-wolves, eight conch dogs, eight golden otters, eight copper foxes, eight tigers, snakes, and cats, eight garuda eagles. In the four directions of the courtyard, are green, yellow, red, and white Tārās holding swords; in the four intermediate directions, a white woman bares her fangs, a black woman holds an iron sword, a red woman emits sunlight, and a yellow woman has matted hair, all four holding skull-cups and knives. Above, the goddess of the phurba has a hundred heads and a hundred arms whirling phurbas, her hundred feet filling the sky; below, a yellow bhūta with hair standing on end, throwing a golden mallet with his right hand and holding a golden net with his left, riding a great tiger. All are in wrathful forms, adorned with the eight charnel ground ornaments, terrifying; shaking the three thousand worlds with roaring sounds; without compassion, delighting in killing; fierce and eager to destroy the enemies and obstructors of the teachings, with (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Meaning) oṃ (唵，oṃ，body) at their crown, (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Meaning) āḥ (阿，ā，speech) at their throat, and (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Meaning) hūṃ (吽，hūṃ，mind) at their heart. The fierce and violent assembly of Mahakala, in the past with Vajrakumara, in the middle with the Karma Lord, and finally with the emanation handprint, vowed to accomplish bodhicitta, appearing as the body that subdues the enemies of the teachings, the great Heruka, the great sovereign mother of the secret lord of karma, Prabha Hasti Hūṃ Kara, Padmasambhava, etc., all the vidyadharas of Vajrakilaya, before you I pledge my oath, the earth goddess herself, the assembly of beings such as besa, iron, and conch, the male and female servants who obey the command, remember your vows, and swiftly accomplish the four activities!
