In this supreme charnel ground, upon the seat of the blue-black Rudra, until the Buddha's teachings remain, Jñāna-nātha with your retinue, I beseech you to abide to protect! Oṃ Śrī Mahākāla Samaya Tiṣṭha Lhan! Then, the offering of homage: Ho! From the palace of the unborn Dharmadhātu, manifesting the miraculous birth of the wrathful king, neither male nor female, possessing the wisdom of equality, blazing with fierce fire, subduing Rudra, destroying the armies of demons to ashes, the terminator, possessing a terrifying laughter, I prostrate to the body of Mahākāla! Wisdom's wrathful one, transformed into a blue form, body color blue like summer rain clouds, destroying all evil Rudras, I prostrate to the great black one! Furthermore, the substances I offer to you: jaggery, golden beer, abundant food and enjoyment, medicine offering, blood offering, enemies' flesh and blood, heart and liver, frogs, snakes, fish, and other harmonious substances, with these immeasurable desirable offerings, may the vows of the neither male nor female black one and his retinue, and all the oath-bound ones, be fulfilled!
