From the Three Sections of the Outline of the Ritual for the Mahakala (Protector) Yuldok (Repelling War) Doma, this is the 'Lamp for Arranging the Practice of Installation'. Mahakala Yuldok, Installation. Namo Guruve (Homage to the Guru)! To the Hero Heruka (Wrathful Deity) who repels the fierce battles of the three realms (Buddhist cosmology: desire realm, form realm, formless realm), I pay homage! Now, I will explain the 'Lamp for Arranging the Practice' of repelling war. First, the summary: Mandala, main Doma, wet offering, dry offering, four directional Domas, ransom, stable Doma, iron fence, wealth objects, food offering, substitute Doma, Linga (Sanskrit: symbol), Thun Doma (Doma for suppression), arrangement of wet items, and blessing of the Doma. As mentioned above, there are fifteen items in total. First is the installation of the Mandala, including the ground ritual, installing the platform and scattering fragrant powder, and drawing with lines and colors. First is the ground ritual: Precede with self-entry yoga, arrange two Domás, white and red, at the place where the Doma is to be built, and perform purification. From emptiness, from BHRUM (Tibetan, भ्रूं, Bhrum, seed syllable) arises a precious vessel, deep and wide, filled with Domás complete with color, smell, taste, and potency. Bless with OM AH HUM (Tibetan, ॐ आः हूँ, Om Ah Hum, body, speech, and mind). OM VAJRA AKARSHAYA JAH (Tibetan, 唵 वज्र आकर्षय जाः, Sanskrit Devanagari: Om Vajra Akarshaya Jah, Sanskrit Romanization: Om Vajra Akarshaya Jah, Vajra Hook Jah) invite the guests. White Doma: STHANA PATI KSHETRA PALANCA NAMAH SARVA TATHAGATEBHYO (Tibetan, स्थान पति क्षेत्र पालञ्च नमः सर्व तथागतेभ्यो, Sanskrit Devanagari: Sthana pati kshetra palanca namah sarva tathagatebhyo, Sanskrit Romanization: Sthana pati kshetra palanca namah sarva tathagatebhyo, Land Lord, Field Protector, Homage, All Tathagatas), etc., and pray for the fulfillment of all wishes. Red Doma: OM SARVA VIGHNAN NAMAH SARVA TATHAGATEBHYO (Tibetan, ॐ सर्व विघ्नान् नमः सर्व तथागतेभ्य, Sanskrit Devanagari: Om Sarva Vighnan Namah Sarva Tathagatebhyo, Sanskrit Romanization: Om Sarva Vighnan Namah Sarva Tathagatebhyo, Om All Obstacles Homage All Tathagatas), etc. HUM! In this Mandala of the Great Yogi, by this command, finally strike with fierce mantras, accompanied by incense and music, intimidating and expelling obstacles, and discard them. After that, visualize the fingers of the right hand as a five-pronged Vajra, place it on the ground, and recite the seven times SVABHAVA (Tibetan, स्वभाव, Svabhava, nature) mantra, purifying all illusions and delusions about the ground and foundation. Second, install the platform and scatter fragrant powder: On the ground, build or do not build a square Mandala platform as needed, each side about a cubit long. Scatter powder mixed with incense and medicine on it without omission. Third, draw with lines and colors. First is drawing the lines: Prepare the string, visualize yourself and the holder of the string as the union of the Great Glorious Lord (Tibetan, དཔལ་ཆེན་པོ, Mahakala) and his consort, merging into the Bodhicitta string. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
