The Activity Ritual of the Protector Gonpo from the Seven Profound Mind Practices of the Great Treasure Trove TD1432. The Protector Legden of the Seven Profound Practices. Treasure Text. The ultimate of all protectors, the activity of Mahākāla is explained. Oṃ āḥ hūṃ! (Tibetan: ༁ྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari:, Sanskrit Romanization:, Literal meaning: ) The Activity Ritual of the Protector Gonpo from the Seven Profound Mind Practices. Homage to the Guru Heruka! The ultimate of all protectors, the activity of Mahākāla is explained. It consists of three parts: preliminary, main practice, and concluding practice. First, visualize oneself as the deity. Bless all the offerings. Second, the main practice of the generation stage: In front, a turbulent ocean of blood, like the gorge of Mount Malaya. On a burning rock of meteoric iron, from (Tibetan: བྷྲཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari:, Sanskrit Romanization:, Literal meaning: ) arises a charnel ground palace. In the center of the eight-spoked wheel, on a lotus and sun cushion, from the letter (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari:, Sanskrit Romanization:, Literal meaning: ) arises a curved knife marked with (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari:, Sanskrit Romanization:, Literal meaning: ). From that arises the form of a vajra rākṣasa, Mahākāla Legden: Dark blue-black, one face, two arms, mouth open, baring fangs, making a 'ken ken' sound. Three eyes glaring, looking in all ten directions. Eyebrows reddish-black, radiating great stars. Hair thick like a great darkness, the right hand holds a burning curved knife, the left holds a skull cup filled with blood. Leaning on a sandalwood garuda in the armpit, divine and demonic armies act as messengers. Wearing layers of black silk robes, the head adorned with dry skulls, jewels, etc. Well-adorned with charnel ground ornaments, wearing Sag boots, standing in a throwing posture. In the midst of a blazing fire of wisdom, to the left is the consort Kamaleśvarī: Krodheśvarī, the color of ashes, hair falling down the back, playing with a snake lasso and skull cup. Wearing a patchwork skirt, with charnel ground ornaments, abiding in a loving manner towards the father. To the right is the black Karmamgon born from (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari:, Sanskrit Romanization:, Literal meaning: ), holding a curved knife and skull blood. Of unsightly form, wearing black robes, to the east is the Kiṃkara born from (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari:, Sanskrit Romanization:, Literal meaning: ), dark blue-black, adorned with charnel ground ornaments, holding a wheel of weapons and skull blood, surrounded by great Gings holding knives. To the south is the red Yaksha born from (Tibetan: ཡ, Sanskrit Devanagari:, Sanskrit Romanization:, Literal meaning: ), wearing leather helmets and leather armor, holding a golden sword and golden spear, the rākṣasī holding a leather mask and hair knife, surrounded by leather men and women and a crowd of flesh-eaters. To the west is the smoky Rahula demon born from (Tibetan: ཛཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari:, Sanskrit Romanization:, Literal meaning: ), nine heads, ten faces like a crow, the right hand lowering a curved knife and hail, the left hand holding a skull cup filled with blood, with a crocodile lasso and snake tail, surrounded by a crowd of planetary and star-faced mothers. To the north is the desire realm born from (Tibetan: མ, Sanskrit Devanagari:, Sanskrit Romanization:, Literal meaning: ). --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hūṃ! The Black Wrathful One appears in a seductive posture, chewing on a stiff corpse in his mouth, with ears adorned with lions and snakes, holding a human-skin drum and a disease bag, wearing peacock feathers and human skin. The sun and moon appear at his navel, his two feet in a relaxed, playful posture, seated on a three-legged mule, surrounded by a hundred thousand black ones, residing in the midst of a blood-sea storm, thirty commanders listening to orders, eighteen arrogant deities carrying out tasks. From the three places (body, speech, and mind) of Oṃ (藏文:ཨོཾ,梵文天城体:ओम्,梵文罗马拟音:om,汉语字面意思:Perfection), Āḥ (藏文:ཨཱཿ,梵文天城体:आः,梵文罗马拟音:āḥ,汉语字面意思:Arising), and Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:Destruction), light radiates, inviting the retinue to descend. Vajra Samāja! Hūṃ! From the Akaniṣṭha Dharmadhātu palace, and the eight great charnel grounds, and the Koka Thang, like a red sea, and from the mountains of fierce power, I pray for the descent of the assembly lords, the lord of the assembly, Great Black One, Mahākāla! Lord of Karma... Krodheshvari... Black Trotting... Great Yaksha... Great Planetary Demon... Mistress of the Desire Realm... Eight Classes of Arrogant Ones... Oṃ Śrī Mahākāla Gaṇapati Saparivāra Vajra Samāja! Hūṃ! In the palace of play in the charnel ground, on the seat of the lotus and sun, I pray that the great deities and their retinues reside joyfully and steadfastly! Hūṃ! In the past, when Heruka subdued the hordes of demons, Mahākāla was the lord of the assembly, the attendant Krodheshvari, and the hosts of maids and servants, along with the eight classes of arrogant deities and their retinues, all vowed to be protectors, promising to guard the Dharma. Now, please remember your vows and accomplish your tasks! Oṃ Vajra Samaya Hana Hana Hūṃ Phat! Hūṃ! Although unwavering in the Dharmadhātu, with fierce and terrifying power, you are the master of all accomplishments. I prostrate to you and your retinue! Namo Namami! Hūṃ! The offerings I present to you are: the blood of slaying all enemies, transformed into a vast river of Argha, poisonous blood gathered into a cool sea for washing the feet, sensory flowers filling the sky, thick incense of fat enveloping like darkness, huge candles igniting the fire of the eon's end, strong perfume stirring up waves, skull drums and leg-bone trumpets sounding like thunder, with rough Torma offering clouds, I offer to all oath-bound protectors! Hūṃ! I offer various grains, sugar and dairy products, intoxicating alcohol and fruits, as well as beautiful forms, pleasant sounds, fragrant smells, sweet tastes, and soft touches, as if offering to the gods! Oṃ Śrī Mahākāla Argha... Shabda Kāma Guṇa Pūja Ho! Hūṃ! I offer the nectar of immortality, a medicinal offering mixed with eighty thousand herbs, stirring up waves of great desire like a sea of blood, to Mahākāla and his retinue! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
