Third, analytical meditation: By analyzing whatever miracles appear, they are none other than the illusions of one's own mind, and determining that the mind is without root or basis, treat it like flesh and blood. Third, signs of accomplishment: There are three types of signs of accomplishment: common, special, and supreme. The first is: others offering food, wealth, etc., to me, which is a sign of accomplishment; living beings and sins being expelled from the body, which is a sign of exorcism; pus and blood flowing, vomiting, diarrhea, etc., which are signs of expelling illness. The second is: the rising of the sun and moon, bathing, climbing upwards, wearing immaculate clothes, flying in the sky, others bowing and circumambulating, requesting the Dharma, offering the life force, etc., which are special signs. The third is: knowing that all illnesses, demons, and miracles are one's own mind, and determining that they are unborn and free from elaboration. Thus, no matter which of the three signs of accomplishment appears, do not be happy or proud, but cultivate the meaning of Prajnaparamita, and when leaving a dangerous place, also cultivate loving-kindness and Bodhicitta towards the gods and demons there, and consolidate it through dedication and aspiration. Fourth, the ultimate means of suppressing evil and the ultimate means of analyzing the meaning of sound. The first is: in a dangerous place, even if one strives for the previous practice, there is no sign of accomplishment, and the miracles become even greater, then go to the place of demons and evil spirits and say: 'Oh, you coming is troublesome! My coming is enough!' 'My mind cannot be seen even by myself. This body of flesh and blood, whatever you want, I will give it to you! If you want to eat meat, eat meat! If you want to drink blood, drink blood! If you are in a hurry, eat it raw! If you are not in a hurry, cook it and eat it! If I cannot give, then I am incompetent! If you cannot eat, then you are useless! So, do whatever you want!' Thus, without being tainted by the bondage of self-grasping, let go completely, and no obstacle can stop you, and no matter what happens, whether it is happiness, suffering, good or bad, do not be attached, hateful, afraid, or hesitant, but bring them into the path and complete the meaning of Prajnaparamita. In short, whether it is doubt, fear, unwillingness, or any adverse conditions such as illness, demons, or defilement, apply the key to them and force them down, thereby transforming conceptual thoughts into the path, turning bad omens into support, making the three realms into dominion, and liberating samsara and nirvana in the Dharmadhatu. Second, the ultimate means of analyzing the meaning of sound: In the 'Perfection of Wisdom in One Syllable' it says: 'With four reasons, Bodhisattvas are endowed with wisdom and power, difficult to be overcome by the four maras, and cannot be moved.' --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

'Not abandoning the place and all sentient beings, acting as spoken, and the blessings of the Sugata.' These four dharmas are: the view of realizing samsara and nirvana as emptiness; the great compassion of not abandoning all sentient beings; not deviating from the bodhisattva's precepts as spoken; and the blessings of the Sugata are refuge and devout supplication. Furthermore, first, abandoning the 'self-grasping' of one's own aggregates, not imposing notions of reality and characteristics on external objects, hence it is called 'cutting the object'. As stated in the *Abhidharmakosha*: 'Not abandoning subtle distractions, the object remains nearby, from inappropriate attention, afflictions arise.' Therefore, what is to be cut is affliction, and affliction arises from subtle distractions, objects, and inappropriate attention. Therefore, the yogi places the object nearby, awakens the habitual tendencies, and cuts upon that very object, hence it is called 'the object to be cut' or 'cutting the object'. From the perspective of mantra, after giving the offering of the body, one also practices speech from external conduct. Therefore, practicing from the perspective of sutra and tantra, practicing in common, hence it is called 'the field of practice'. The ultimate conclusion of these meanings should be understood from the words of the supreme gurus. This pith instruction called 'Chöd Yul, the Single-Seat Practice: Self-Liberation of Samsara and Nirvana' was spoken by Yeshe Gyatso and Jamyang Gyatso, who possess the power of supreme wisdom, and was recorded by the faithful Vidyadhara Gyurme Dorje according to the lineage of the holy teachings.
