Its history is recorded in the treasure text: 'This is the lineage of the Thunderbolt of Heaven,' which Vajravarahi spoke to the Lord of Secrets. The Lord of Secrets hid it in a stupa with a vase. At that time, when Orgyen (Padmasambhava) was seven hundred years old, he invited it from the treasure, and five hundred heretical teachers, along with the King of Lanka, were destroyed by their own power. The name of heresy no longer existed in that land, and Buddhism was established. If this fourteen-letter mantra (ཡི་གེ་བཅུ་བཞི་པ་) is recited on white mustard seeds, it will become the supreme protection for oneself and others. In short, it is the ultimate method of protection, repulsion, and destruction. Its great qualities are as follows: Achieving wishes with this is like a wish-fulfilling jewel; Cutting through sorcery, the sky is empty and unobstructed; Dancing without hindrance, like a diamond; Striking like a vajra projectile; Wearing on the body is like a diamond; It is the essence of all repulsions; Against worldly curses and; Also repels the wisdom deities; No evil mantra can penetrate; Entering once beneath this; Repels the evil mantras of the flesh-eating mothers; What need to mention the Eight Classes of spirits; Even if a flesh-eating mother wields a phurba and contends with emptiness, she will destroy herself; If it is on the crown of the head, neck, or body; It is like a diamond; So it is said. It can subdue all curses, And increase food, wealth, and enjoyment. This subduing is superior to other subduing methods. Like me, Orgyen Padmasambhava, Even if there are thousands and millions of protections and subduing methods, There is nothing deeper than this. It can protect my body and speech, Destroy the power of enemies, And apply power to the eight classes of gods and demons. This is the key instruction for killing one's own enemy. This is the covenant between Bon and Buddhism, It can subdue the power of one hundred Sugatas and one thousand saints. Twenty-one can subdue the power of one hundred people. If the power is strong, it is very sharp. This is the dakini's subduing method, called Iron Razor. Or, write this life syllable of subduing, In gold and wear it on the body, Recite it seven times a day, Even if you are cursed by thousands of mantras and Bon curses, It will not be harmed like the sky. The subduing is like the blade of a razor, It is as difficult to change as the sky. Heart's secret treasure Atam Gya. So it is said. Therefore, this empowerment is very important, because it is a covenant between Bon and Buddhism, and if it is spread too much, it will harm the Dharma.
