The fierce ripening ritual, relying on painted thangkas, The ritual based upon it is easy to perform, It does not deviate from our own tradition, and it is arranged to be consistent with other condensed texts. To initiate disciples into the mandala of the fierce Subduer of All Arrogance, relying on the direction of the sand mandala in connection with the extensive practice is rarely done, so if you wish to do it, you should learn it elsewhere. Here, in the ritual relying on painted thangkas, there are both extensive and concise versions. If you know the former, the latter will be understood automatically, so it will be explained in that way in three parts: preliminaries, main practice, and concluding activities. The first has three parts: ground ritual, abiding of the deities, and arranging the mandala implements. The first of these has four parts: examination, invocation, purification, and taking hold. Here, examination is not necessary. Invocation: In the center of the mandala ground, place a cluster of scented water drops and flowers, surrounded by offerings, with a conical torma and a white torma in the center. The preliminary practice, including the recitation of the self-generation deity yoga, should be done beforehand, purifying the offering torma. All is emptiness, transformed into a vast treasury of space.
