Namo Buddhaya (Homage to the Buddha)! Namo Guru (Homage to the Guru)! To the assembly of Sugatas, I prostrate with body, speech, and mind. Therefore, wishing to practice the Bhagavan glorious Hayagriva, one instantly transforms oneself into the glorious Hayagriva, with three faces and six arms: In a posture to subdue the eight classes of gods and demons, residing on top of eight intertwined snakes, with eight feet spread wide; the right face of the three is green, the left is white, and the center is red; the green-black horse head neighs, and sparks fly from the mane, filling the world from below the Brahma realm with a curtain of fire. Of the six arms, in the right, the first holds a vajra, the second holds a khatvanga (a staff with three human heads and a banner), and the third holds a sword pointed towards oneself; in the left, the first makes a threatening mudra, the second holds a short spear, and the third holds a lasso. Adorned with eight charnel ground ornaments, from the vase at the neck to the ankles, filled with wrathful small ones, each an inch in size, looking with angry eyes, mouth open and teeth clenched, as if putting grains of sand in the palm, filled with wrathful small ones with eyes as big as pebbles, residing in the midst of blazing flames. Having meditated thus, from the mouth recite: oṃ hrīḥ padmāntakṛta vajra krodha haya grīva hulu hulu hūṃ phaṭ (嗡 舍利 莲花 尽作 金刚 忿怒 马头 明王 呼噜 呼噜 吽 啪). As one recites, from the mouths of the small wrathful ones also emanate mantra sounds like thunder, rumbling loudly; with flashes and explosions of flames, visualize all appearances being consumed by the flames, and all obstacles being burned to ashes. From the root of each hair follicle emanate countless Hayagrivas, so that all harm-doers and demons feel as if they are cutting off their own lives, feeling fear, terror, stiffness, and fainting. Visualize that even in the three thousand worlds, there is no place to stand, and everything is self-destructing. In conclusion, recite: oṃ vajra dun bhyo trik nan dza dza (嗡 班杂 顿 贝 卓 尼 匝 匝), recite for a full year. This is the mantra to subdue the eight classes of gods and demons; because of great sin, it must be kept secret. The preliminary practices, activities, and constant mantras must also be practiced. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The wrathful mantra that combines the four into one is recited as follows: Oṃ hrīḥ padmāntakṛta vajra krodha hayagrīva hulu hulu hūṃ phaṭ (藏文:ཨོཾ་ཧྲཱིཿཔདྨཱནྟ་ཀྲྀཏ་བཛྲ་ཀྲོ་དྷ་ཧ་ཡ་གྲཱི་ཝ་ཧུ་ལུ་ཧུ་ལུ་ཧཱུྃ་ཕཊ,梵文天城体:ओṃ hrīḥ padmāntakṛta vajra krodha hayagrīva hulu hulu hūṃ phaṭ,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ hrīḥ padmāntakṛta vajra krodha hayagrīva hulu hulu hūṃ phaṭ,Literal meaning: Om Hrih Lotus-ender Vajra Wrathful Horse-neck Hulu Hulu Hum Phat). Recite: Samaya Ja, Samaya Drok, Samaya Bhyo, Samaya Tub, Samaya Jyer, Samaya Bad, Samaya Bad Bud Phat Ya. Beings Maraya Ja Ja. Sometimes Shampur is also added. This is the mantra for activities. All supreme and common accomplishments arise from the complete realization of the secret practice of the Bhagavan Glorious Hayagriva, the King of Empowerment. Prayer: Essence of the minds of all Buddhas, the Victorious Ones, Before the fierce assembly of secret deities of the mandala, The yogi prostrates with reverence. To practice the Bhagavan Great Glorious Hayagriva, First, with the intention to attain Buddhahood for the benefit of all sentient beings, And to protect against obstacles, One should think in this way. In an instant, visualize oneself as the Glorious Hayagriva, with three faces and six arms, standing on eight legs, with a green-black horse head neighing on top of the three faces. The first right hand holds a vajra, the second holds a khatvanga, and the third holds a sword. The first left hand holds a threatening mudra, the second holds a short spear, and the third holds a lasso. Residing in the midst of blazing flames. Adorned with the eight charnel ground ornaments: drops of blood, patterns of grease, piles of ashes, strands of human hair, a garland of wet human heads, an elephant skin, a human skin cloak, and bone ornaments. After visualizing in this way, recite the mantra from the mouth, and the sound and light of the mantra shine upwards to the pure lands of the Buddhas of the three times, touching the hearts of the Buddhas. From the red Hūṃ at the tip of the heart, the red Hrīḥ emits light surrounded by the mantra, making offerings to the noble ones, and reciting three times Oṃ Āḥ Hūṃ, visualize that their body, speech, and mind bless oneself, as described below. The Buddhas are pleased, granting the five desirable qualities, removing all obstacles, purifying all sins, and visualize oneself as being no different from the yidam deity. The sound and light of the mantra shine downwards, touching all sentient beings in the Avīci hell, pacifying all heat and cold, boiling and burning, and leading them to great bliss. The light of the mantra touches the obstructing enemies and demons, and they are reduced to ashes like dust falling on a blacksmith's coal pile, or like burning a haystack. From the vase at the neck down to the ankles, visualize a wrathful small child filling the entire body, glaring with angry eyes, and baring fangs.
