With the smiling rays of the great bliss assembly, Welcoming all beings to the land of bliss. The lotus feet of the Lord of Compassion, May I take upon my crown until enlightenment. Generating the mind for enlightenment for the sake of others, and striving in the yoga of compassion, if you wish to perform the supreme of the noble activities, the inner ripening liberation, then on a platform with a covering, on a maṇḍala, arrange five heaps of grains, or draw an eight-petaled lotus as you please, and on top of that, on a throne, place a vase filled with the five essences, with a red neck cord, and in the middle, erect an inner practice deity image and a liberation-through-wearing wheel that are in accordance with the consecration text, and arrange them with protective knots. If incense, flowers, lamps, and scented water are all complete, arrange one set on each of the four sides. If they are not complete, arrange one set in front. Refuge, generating the mind, the seven-branch offering, and contemplating the four immeasurables should be done as they appear in the practice manual for this. All dharmas are perfected in their own essence. Free from the impurities of the four extremes, with four hands, The first holds an unchanging vajra, Continuous bliss arises, with a rosary, The self-power of emptiness, a thousand-petaled, Holding the mudrā of the lotus symbol, Not mixed, perfecting all qualities. Hair piled high with braids, Adorned with a crown of five wisdoms. Earrings of retention, mindfulness, samādhi, and clairvoyance, A necklace and throat ornament. A belt of ten powers, Adorned with armlets of four fearlessnesses.
