Da Bao Fu Zang TD882 The Great Compassionate One, Liberation from Samsara and Nirvana, A Clear Mirror for Practice. Great Compassion, Liberation from Samsara and Nirvana, Practice. The Great Compassionate One, Liberation from Samsara and Nirvana, A Clear Mirror for Practice. Namo Guru Arya Lokeshvaraye (Sanskrit: नमो गुरु आर्य लोकेश्वराय,Homage to the Guru (Guru, teacher), Arya (Ārya, noble), Loka (Loka, world), Ishvara (Īśvara, lord)). The unified wisdom, compassion, and power of all Buddhas. The great Vajradhara, master of a hundred wisdoms. Omniscient one, at the feet of Lobsang Gyatso (Tibetan: བློ་བཟང་རྒྱ་མཚོ།, personal name, usually refers to the Dalai Lama). With unwavering faith, I prostrate and request blessings. Lord of the activities of the Buddhas of the three times. Liberating all beings from the suffering of wandering in the ocean of existence. To the deities of the peaceful and wrathful mandala, I pay homage with reverence. Relying on you, Lord, as the supreme deity, the practice of... A clear and pure mirror of practical instructions. Clearly showing to fortunate disciples. May the assembly of Dharma protectors grant the opportunity for practice. Here, the great Rigdzin (Tibetan: རིག་འཛིན་, Vidyadhara) Ngari Pa (Tibetan: མངའ་རིས་པ་, place name) master Lekden (Tibetan: ལེགས་ལྡན།, personal name) Dudjom Dorje (Tibetan: བདུད་འཇོམས་རྡོ་རྗེ།, personal name) and the tertön (treasure revealer) Nyi Da Wozer (Tibetan: ཉི་ཟླ་འོད་ཟེར།, personal name), from the upper chamber of the Samye (Tibetan: དཔལ་བསམ་ཡས།, Samye Monastery) Utse (Tibetan: དབུ་རྩེ།, peak) Namnang (Tibetan: རྣམ་སྣང་།, Vairocana) Tukje Longdrong (Tibetan: ཐུགས་ཀྱི་ཀློང་སྒྲོམ་, heart-essence), extracted the profound Dharma treasure 'The Great Compassionate One, Liberation from Samsara and Nirvana,' the method of practice is divided into three parts: preliminary, main practice, and concluding practice. First, the preliminary: Initially, from a qualified Vajra master, like the empowerment ritual of 'Great Blissful Realm Union,' fully receive the ripening empowerment. And like the root commentary of 'Supreme Bestowal of Rainbow Body Attainment,' and the 'Oral Transmission of the Vidyadharas,' fully receive the key instructions, or receive the complete empowerment and practice lineage. Such a person, according to the root of the Vajra words: 'Snowy mountains, empty valleys, or mountaintops, charnel grounds, etc., are blessed places of solitude.' etc., in any of these places. 'Gather the Tsok Torma (Tibetan: ཚོགས་གཏོར་, Sanskrit: Ganachakra, Sanskrit Romanization: Ganacakra, Chinese literal meaning: wheel, circle), empowerment substances, and the necessities of life, without lacking any equipment.' Thus it is said, gather the necessary items, clean the dwelling, etc. If you wish to practice extensively, then rely on a mandala of colored powders or paintings, like the empowerment ritual, prepare the ground ritual, draw the mandala, and arrange the decorations. For a concise practice, rely on the number of deities' Tsombu (Tibetan: ཚོམ་བུ་, a type of offering), and Rakta (Tibetan: རཀྟ་, Sanskrit: rakta, Sanskrit Romanization: rakta, Chinese literal meaning: blood). Whether extensive or concise, it is necessary to offer white Torma (Tibetan: དཀར་གཏོར་, white food offering) and red Torma (Tibetan: དམར་གཏོར་, red food offering), and issue commands to the earth spirits. At the entrance, write boundary mantras (Tibetan: མཚམས་ཐོ་དཀར་, white boundary mantra). --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
