It is. Transcending both the seen and the seer, With the great luminosity that transcends consciousness, Having conferred empowerment upon the fortunate son, Entrusting the doctrine of the Dharmakaya to you. May the son of the lineage, having obtained the supreme empowerment free from partiality, benefit sentient beings with the three aspects of the Dharmakaya's teachings!' Having said this, he placed the items in his hand, placed the crown on his head, and placed the vajra and bell in his hand, saying: 'Ho! This is the self-illuminating, unwavering meditation, It is the lifeblood of samsara and nirvana. Transcending both meditation and the meditator, Primordially liberated, self-illuminating great compassion. Because of conferring empowerment upon the fortunate son, Entrusting the doctrine of the Sambhogakaya to you. May the son of the lineage, having obtained the supreme empowerment of meditation free from effort, benefit sentient beings with the three aspects of the Sambhogakaya's teachings!' He placed the scriptures, mirror, and six-syllable mantra in his hand, saying: 'Ho! Action is the self-liberation of acceptance and rejection, It is the nature of samsara and nirvana. Transcending both the acted upon and the actor, Primordially liberated, self-illuminating lama. Because of conferring empowerment upon the fortunate son, Entrusting the doctrine of the Nirmanakaya to you. May the son of the lineage, having obtained the supreme empowerment of action free from acceptance and rejection, benefit sentient beings with the three aspects of the Nirmanakaya's teachings!' Having said this, he scattered flowers and played music. Then, visualize that from the heart of the lama, an image of the Great Compassionate One, equal in size to the lama's body, radiates and merges into the heart of the disciple. Holding the scripture, he said: 'Ho! All phenomena of samsara and nirvana are without foundation, The appearance of non-existence is the path of all phenomena. This is the unfolding of unborn awareness, Free from hope and fear, alala! The fruition of the three kayas is spontaneously accomplished, Everything should be offered, as a support for faith, Today it is accomplished!' Having said this, he placed the scripture in his hand. Oh, child, from this time forward, do not mix your view and conduct with others, maintain your own essence! Hold the mirror and the seven-syllable mantra, and turn the mani wheel! Rain down the rain of empowerment and dharma upon all sentient beings! Establish the path of the seven-syllable mantra! Continuously recite the dharani! Do not interrupt the offerings of the tenth day! Generate devotion and reverence for the lama! Do not waver from your samadhi! Do not show the dharma texts to those who are gossiping and backbiting, and fully impart the instructions to those who are certain to be of your lineage! Even if the view is as vast as the tent of the sky, do not mix the conduct with what is not dharma! Even if the conduct is very meticulous about cause and effect, integrate it into the meaning of primordial purity! Even if the effort of meditation is exhausted, replenish the approach and accomplishment! Even if a gap appears between the self-liberated appearance and mind, do not be distracted, rely on the guard of mindfulness! Even if whatever arises is the state of the nature, repeat the basic appearance with the three non-departures! Lama and mind… --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Even if mixed, pray with fervent devotion! Although there is no distinction between mountains and valleys, transform places into secluded retreats and hermitages through skillful means and wisdom!' Thus he advised. May the powerful deities residing in the sky also dissolve into you all! May the assembly of deities in the Guru Mandala (Tibetan: བླ་མ་དཀྱིལ་འཁོར།, meaning 'Guru Mandala'), together with the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, pronounce auspicious blessings with truthful words and shower down a rain of flowers!' Having said this, he began to speak, extensively spreading auspicious blessings. Third is the sequence following the empowerment: vowing the commitments, offering the gratitude mandala, offering the body, dedicating the merit, and so forth. And the subsequent rituals of the mandala, participating in the tsok (Tibetan: ཚོགས།, meaning 'gathering' or 'assembly') feast, from offering the leftovers to proclaiming auspicious blessings, accomplish it according to the ritual manual. May the light of compassion pierce through the dark room of the two obscurations. With the self-arisen, stainless eyes of Chenrezig (Tibetan: སྤྱན་རས་གཟིགས།, meaning 'Avalokiteśvara'), may you grant a great breath of relief to the wretched beings. May your activities be as boundless as the sky! Because the transmission and combination of this terma (Tibetan: གཏེར།, meaning 'treasure') text itself are too extensive, Padma Garwang Trinley Drodul Tsal (Tibetan: པདྨ་གར་དབང་ཕྲིན་ལས་འགྲོ་འདུལ་རྩལ།), in the palace of Dzongshö Deshek Düpa (Tibetan: རྫོང་ཤོད་བདེ་གཤེགས་འདུས་པ།), condensed the essential points of the empowerment ritual without omission, making it a concise ritual that can be recited.
