Da Bao Fu Zang TD864 'The Great Compassionate One Who Saves All from the Lower Realms: A Practice Manual Called the Mandala of the Autumn Moon'. Dorje Lingpa's (name of a Tertön) Great Compassion practice, activity manual. Namo Guru Lokanatha. To the afflictions that bind beings in the unbearable lower realms, the great weapon of compassion that severs the जाल (Sanskrit, net, metaphor for afflictions as a net). Possessing the power of the ten strengths, unsurpassed by anyone, I pray that the protector saves me and others. Like a wish-fulfilling jewel, it is extremely rare, and if obtained, it accomplishes great benefit. The supreme guide, the lord of compassion, bestows this upon the fortunate ones, it is wondrous. Avalokiteśvara, the protector of the snowy land, has countless methods of accomplishment, among which the most special is the activity of the Great Compassionate One Who Saves All from the Lower Realms. Entering into the order of activities, the mandala, torma (Sanskrit, offering cake), etc., are arranged according to what is appropriate. The actual activity is divided into three: preliminary, main part, and subsequent order. First, if you want to elaborate on the lineage supplication, then: Homage to the Guru. In the realm of great bliss, adorned with lotuses, I pray to the Dharmakaya Amitabha. In the palace of the sacred Mount Potala, I pray to the Sambhogakaya Great Compassionate One. In the palace of the Glorious Copper-Colored Mountain in Ngayab, I pray to the Nirmanakaya Padmasambhava. In the realm of immaculate light where the four visions are perfected, I pray to the great translator Vairochana. In the blissful space where all secret dharmas arise, I pray to the Dakini Yeshe Tsogyal. In the realm of Samye, where activities tame beings, I pray to the prince Dorje Lingpa. In the vast space of pure vision, endowed with the seven transmissions of empowerment, I pray to Padma Do-ngak Lingpa. In the palace of the Dharmakaya, where appearances and existence are self-liberated, I pray to the holders of the transmitted precepts. In the mandala of the Great Compassionate One Who Saves All from the Lower Realms, I pray to the assembly of countless victorious ones. To the heroes and yoginis residing in the three places, I pray to the Dharma protectors of the oral and treasure teachings. May I and others ripen and be liberated, attain the state of great compassion, purify samsara, and perfect the benefit of others. Here, if you wish to perform the outer tantra offerings, then commonly arrange the torma and golden drink. Preliminary, of the eight topics explicitly stated in the text, the first is taking refuge: Om Mani Padme Hum Hrih (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari: ॐ मणि पद्मे हूँ ह्रीः, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ maṇi padme hūṃ hrīḥ, Chinese literal meaning: Om Mani Padme Hum Hrih) The self-arisen awareness --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
