In a swirling container, pour water without impurities, like a sacred lake. In the center of it, place a flawless bowl coated with compatible materials, filled with tsampa (roasted barley flour) and food mixed with sacred medicine, shaped like the reproductive organs of male and female sacred sheep, hollowed out inside. After writing, bless it with the self-arisen mantra and the mantra of dependent origination, and then roll it up inward from the top. Place the life support (sacred object) and the life turquoise (amulet) in the shining light, and wrap the lifespan support (sacred object) with a white, flawless object, along with an increasing longevity ribbon with the number of years of the practitioner's age, and place it in a peaceful manner. Second, the ransom effigy torma: In a precious vessel such as a copper basin, make an effigy from pure grain flour, the best effigy being one kyuba high, the medium one being one foot high, and the lowest one being at least one span high. It should be made beautifully and with complete reproductive organs, and dressed in a hat and clothes that match it. The two hands should be in a dance mudra of taking upwards. If possible, place hair, eyeballs, teeth, ears, a tongue (made of red silk), the upper body decorated with gold, the lower body decorated with jade, and the heart made of curd. According to the various effigy rituals, place the hands, feet, and other items in their respective positions. For a male, write the male horoscope and age on a tiger skin amulet and place it on the right shoulder; for a female, write the female horoscope and age on a cow skin amulet and place it on the left shoulder. On the back of the effigy, draw a compatible rainbow pattern, symbolizing the sky and distance; place an arrow banner on the right side and a victory banner on the left side; place three butter lamps in front; and place thirteen wooden paintings around the effigy, depicting various scenes of land, castles, desired objects, wealth, and offerings. If it is not possible to prepare all of these, at least prepare one wooden painting of a rainbow pattern, and press the desired objects into tsampa and surround the effigy. In any case, finally place one hundred and eight small effigies, or the same number of tormas, or ten tormas. Place amulets made of tsampa wrapped around the body. Place southern items such as dyes, madder, and melted butter on the right side; place northern items such as salt, alkali, and borax on the left side; place mountain items such as salt lake salt, alkali soil, and salt soil stone on the back; and place water items such as garlic and bridge wood pieces in front.
