Da Bao Fu Zang TD676 'The Empowerment Ritual of Yamantaka, the Conqueror of Enemies: Crushing the Four Maras' Battle Array'. Zur tradition, Black King practice. Empowerment Ritual. Namo Guru Yamantakaya! (藏文:ན་མོ་གུ་རུ་ཡ་མཱནྟ་ཀ་ཡ།,梵文天城体:नमः गुरु यमान्तकाय,梵文罗马拟音:namaḥ guru yamāntakāya,汉语字面意思:顶礼上师阎魔敌) To the terrifying Yamaraja (藏文:གཤིན་རྗེ,梵文天城体:यम,梵文罗马拟音:yama,汉语字面意思:阎魔) and his messengers, To the great Yamaraja who inspires fear, I compile the empowerment of the Conqueror of Enemies, Arranging the ancient texts in order. Here, desiring to bestow the condensed meaning empowerment in the mandala of Bhagavan Yamantaka, one should prepare either a painted mandala or an arrangement of five heaps of grains upon which are placed the main deity and the retinue of five deities. On top of a stand (Manzhi), place a vase filled with essence, adorned with a dark blue neck cord. Behind it, place a glorious torma (sacrificial cake) with its four wheels, along with medicine and blood offerings on the right and left sides. In front, place two waters and offerings for the senses. In front of the mandala, place the main deity, the five armor deities, and the four great executioners, all in the form of tsaklis (small images). On the right, place a crown, vajra (金刚杵) and bell, glorious ornaments, nineteen hand implements, and a pusti (book) of tantra (密续) vows and sadhana (修法). Behind, place a kapala (skull cup) filled with amrita (甘露), a consort tsakli, crystal, mirror, and butter lamp. On the left, place a homa (fire offering) pit, lingam (phallus), stakes, sword, four mudras (手印), various offering substances, a pressed skull, a charnel ground, colored threads, and many sacas (small stupas or images). The red torma should be adorned with white mustard seeds, and small tormas adorned with flesh and blood, equal in number to the students. Around the four sides of the mandala, place tormas for Yama (阎魔), the mothers, maras (魔), and fierce spirits. If available, erect deity tsaklis. Also prepare preliminary tormas, food offerings, tsok (gathering) implements, and other necessary items as usual. Follow the actual text of Zur or the 'Work Manual Like a Poisonous Mountain' composed by Chakme, completing the self-generation, front generation, recitation, offering, torma, and tsok gathering. If you wish to elaborate, generate and recite the activity vase, or generate and recite the general boundary of the nectar swirl. Throw the wisdom flower and receive permission. When the students have gathered, perform the bathing, obstacle torma, boundary cutting, protection circle, and flower scattering and gathering. Then, generate the thought: 'For the sake of all sentient beings as vast as space, may all obstacles to practicing the holy Dharma be pacified, and may we ultimately attain the state of Bhagavan Yamantaka. For that purpose, I will listen to the profound empowerment of the Yamantaka Conqueror of Enemies mandala.' --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Listen carefully! In this snowy land of Tibet, due to the order in which the lamps of the holy Dharma were lit, the teachings of the Nyingma (Old Translation School), known as the new and old tantras, were formed. Among them, the pinnacle of the Nine Vehicles, the generation stage of the three great yogas, the Dharma class of Maha Yoga, is divided into the Tantra Section and the Practice Section. Here, within the first of the Eight Great Practice Sections, the Body Section of Manjushri, there are internal classifications: Mudra Subjugation belongs to the Tathagata family, the Destroyer Black Vajra belongs to the Vajra family, Oral Transmission belongs to the Ratna family, the Terrifying Red Weapon belongs to the Padma family, and the Dissipating Sunlight Wrathful belongs to the Karma family. These are divided into the five families of Tathagata or Karma. In the three classifications of wisdom, karma, and worldly Yama, Lord of Death, it belongs to the wisdom aspect. Among the previous common scriptures and treasures, in the Eight Ear-transmitted Yama Lords of Life, this one, known as Vajra Subjugation Ear-transmission, is said to be the same essence as the Great Wrathful Achala. Based on the Dissipating Sunlight Wrathful and the red-black Kilaya tantras, etc., the rituals explained by Acharya Shantarakshita were translated from India; based on the Iron Tantra among the Five Element Calculation Tantras, etc., the explanations were translated from China by the great translator Vairochana; and the intentions of many tantras were explained by the Second Buddha, the Great Acharya Padmasambhava, etc. All the rivers of pith instructions flowed into Nubchen Sangye Yeshe Rinpoche, and then were successively transmitted to his supreme son Khulongpa Yonten Gyatso and others in the Kama lineage, as well as the profound hidden treasures, which were revealed by the great emanation treasure revealers Druku Yangwang, Gyazhang Trom Dorje Odbar, Guru Chokyi Wangchuk, Padma Lédrel Tsal, Nyida Sangye, etc., forming different rituals and pith instructions, all of which were transmitted to Zurkhar Awo Chöje. Moreover, In the great prophecy text, the 'Kagyama,' he was prophesied as one of the six with Dharma eyes, his true name being Chökyi Gyaltsen Palsangpo, his secret name being Equality Vajra, who attained accomplishment in the Manjushri Yama Lord of Death family, Naga Raksha. He gathered the essence of many scriptures and treasures into one, establishing the Vajra Zurkhar tradition, which is of pure origin and full of blessings, and its ripening empowerment, along with the authoritative texts, continues to this day, as well as the maturing and liberating pith instructions that have come from many lineages. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
