Activity Section. ༁ྃ༔ From 'Black Yamantaka Manjushri Life-Bestower': Seventh Scroll Homage to Manjushri Yamantaka! To empower and mature disciples through the mandala of Manjushri Yamantaka, a qualified lama should empower those disciples who are qualified and steadfast. First, sprinkle the altar with blood and alcohol. In the center, a dark blue 'ཨེ' (Tibetan: ཨེ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ऐ, Sanskrit Romanization: ai, Literal Meaning: Ah) is circled and divided into nine sections. Outside the crescent shape is a skull wall, and outside that is a black twelve-spoked wheel. At the corners are twelve skull piles, representing twelve skull fortresses. At the entrances are thirty-six iron fortresses. The gate decorations are as usual, with the Dharma wheel and stupa adorned with a garuda crest. Surrounding it are sixty-four iron fortresses, depicting charnel grounds and fire mountains. In the center, place a vase filled with precious substances, the five buddha families, vajra and bell, secret symbols, deity statues, mantras, hand implements, and a fully adorned consort. When performing the 'བཾ་' (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari: vam, Sanskrit Romanization: vam, Literal Meaning: seed syllable) empowerment, place the mandala with 'བཾ་' (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari: vam, Sanskrit Romanization: vam, Literal Meaning: seed syllable) in the center. Prepare the substances for crushing, burning, and throwing, as well as black and white stupas. Arrange the outer, inner, and secret feast offerings completely. Visualize yourself and the mandala in front, inside the vase, the deity statue, the hand-seal fortress, in the heart of 'བཾ་' (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari: vam, Sanskrit Romanization: vam, Literal Meaning: seed syllable), and inside the stupa, all appearing like multiple images in a mirror, arising through one activity. If you cannot do that, then generate each of them through one activity and recite the mantras. Receive the empowerment yourself and become powerful. Have the disciple sit in front, perform bathing, dispel obstacles, establish boundaries, visualize the protection wheel, and have them offer a mandala. The supplication is as follows: Guru Manjushri Yamantaka, please regard me with compassion! With the intention to liberate beings, please reveal the Manjushri mandala! The master says to the disciples: Those who are qualified and wish to enter the Manjushri Yamantaka mandala must uphold the vows properly, therefore, please vow from the heart!
