From the Great Treasure Trove TD578, within 'The Gathering of Blood-Drinking Bliss-Gone Ones,' is the text called 'Quintessence of the Profound Path: Instructions on the Five Stages.' The Eight Commands of the Accomplished Ones. Instructions. From the Great Treasure Trove TD578, within 'The Gathering of Blood-Drinking Bliss-Gone Ones,' is the text called 'Quintessence of the Profound Path: Instructions on the Five Stages.' Oṃ Sarva Guru Buddhāya Namo Nama Mami (藏文:ཨོཾ་སརྦ་གུ་རུ་བུདྡྷཱ་ཡ་ན་མོ་ན་མཱ་མི།,梵文天城体:ओंसर्वगुरुबुद्धायनमोनममि,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ sarva guru buddhāya namo nama mami,Literal meaning: Om, all gurus, buddhas, homage, homage, not belonging to me). Heruka (藏文:ཧེ་རུ་ཀ་,梵文天城体:हेरुक,梵文罗马拟音:heruka,Literal meaning: Blood-drinker) glorious primordial protector, Bliss-gone ones, all gathered in the mandala, Having paid homage, I will explain the essence of the profound nine stages of completion, The method of meditating in a single session. The root tantra, the deity of Mahāyoga (藏文:མ་ཧཱ་ཡོ་ག,梵文天城体:महायोग,梵文罗马拟音:mahāyoga,Literal meaning: Great Yoga), the gathering of all mandalas, the accomplishment of the Bliss-Gone Ones, the instructions based on the channels, winds, bindus, mind, and wisdom, which are the main points of the Eight Commands. The five stages of secret completion, self-arisen sky-face meaning instructions, are merely different in name but the meaning is the same. Here, the great accomplished Thangtong Gyalpo (藏文:ཐང་སྟོང་རྒྱལ་པོ,Literal meaning: Thangtong King) directly heard from Guru Padmasambhava, And the great master of the seven transmissions, the fearless emanation of light, Vajra, bestowed the close transmission of the third stage of the Blood-Drinking Bliss-Gone Ones, the accomplishment of the heart's completion, which is the same in both word and meaning as the secret completion of Chöwang Rinpoche. The blessings of the instruction lineage of all three aspects of the Eight Commands are gathered into one river, making this an unprecedented and extraordinarily wonderful profound Dharma, so there are three points to explaining this: The preliminary is like spring work, the instructions for cutting the flesh of the mind; the main part is like summer work, the instructions for arranging the auspicious connections of the path; the conclusion is like autumn harvest, the instructions for expanding the power of wisdom without bias. The first has two parts: common and uncommon. The first has five parts: inspiring the mind towards Dharma, the gateway of refuge and bodhicitta, taming the mindstream, accumulating merit, and invoking blessings. The first is: a practitioner who has properly received the ripening and liberation of this from a qualified lama and whose vows are not impaired, in a secluded place, straightens the body, expels the stale air, cuts the bonds of conceptual thoughts, and thinks like this: Now I have obtained the leisure and endowment of a human body that is difficult to find and greatly beneficial. I have met a lama, a virtuous friend, and obtained the profound Dharma. Without laziness or procrastination, if I do not definitely take the essence of this support, then when will the outer be the four seasons and the inner be enemies and friends? --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Birth and death: No matter how much one examines any moment of the secret self-arising thought, it is impermanent and unstable, quickly decaying, and uncertain. Death is unavoidable. After death, neither the body, possessions, relatives, nor anything else will follow. They will abandon oneself, and one will abandon them, departing into a state of utter helplessness, followed only by karma. If one is born in hell due to sins and unwholesome deeds, enduring the suffering of heat and cold; if one is born as a hungry ghost, enduring the suffering of hunger and thirst; if one is born as an animal, enduring the suffering of being exploited, merely remembering these things causes one's hair to stand on end. What will one do if one actually experiences these sufferings firsthand? Moreover, there are birth, old age, sickness, and death; the battles of the Asuras (demigods who fight with the gods); the fall of the gods; invisible changes; and the suffering of conditioned existence, which are all unimaginable. Therefore, one should understand that all states of samsara are like a pit of fire, a forest of razors, or a forest of swords, and thereby generate a strong sense of renunciation. Secondly, because only the Lama (bla ma, Guru) and the Three Jewels (dkon mchog rin po che, Precious Three Jewels) can truly save us from the suffering of samsara, one should generate the mind of refuge. Visualize in the space in front of you the root and lineage Lamas, as well as the mandala of the Yidams, Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, heroes, Dakinis, Dharma protectors, and guardians, as if they were actually present. With a single-pointed mind, for oneself and all sentient beings, from now until enlightenment, take refuge, reciting: 'Namo! To the Lama, the root of blessings, to the infallible Three Jewels, and to the assembly of Dakinis and Dharma protectors, I sincerely take refuge with reverence!' By remembering the qualities of the Three Jewels, take refuge from the depths of your heart as much as possible. Generating Bodhicitta: Knowing that all suffering sentient beings in samsara have been one's kind mothers countless times, greet them with loving-kindness, wishing to give them happiness, and help them with compassion, wishing them to be free from suffering, vowing to place them in unsurpassed bliss. For this purpose, enter into the vast conduct of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas and train, which is to generate relative Bodhicitta. Also recite: 'For the sake of all sentient beings of the six realms who have been my mothers, I generate loving-kindness and compassion. In order to attain the state of Buddhahood, I will train in the conduct of the Bodhisattvas!' Recite this repeatedly and train the mind. Thirdly, visualize above the crown of your head, Lama Vajrasattva (rdo rje sems, Diamond Being, vajrasattva, diamond being): His body is white and radiant, with one face and two arms, peaceful and smiling, holding a vajra (rdo rje, vajra, vajra, diamond scepter) and a bell (dril, bell, ghanta, bell), adorned with silks and jewels, seated in the posture of a Bodhisattva on a lotus and moon cushion. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
