Great Treasure of Termas TD362, Karma Pakshi's Visionary Practice. Karma Pakshi Guru Sadhana, Practice Manual. BHRUM (bhūṃ, seed syllable, earth) GURU BUDDHA DHARMA KAYA NAMO (guru buddha dharma kāya namo, Sanskrit, Teacher Buddha Dharma Body Homage), Homage to the Guru Dharmakaya! This is the method of practicing the Guru Sadhana: The Vidyadhara named Immovable Vajra, In the Snake year when he was twenty-five years old, While practicing the Protector Vajra Bearer, At dawn, not in a dream but in direct experience, Red light flashed before his eyes, filling the entire room, He wondered if it was a demonic influence or a miraculous display? He fainted and lost consciousness for a moment. At that time, from the space in front of him, He saw a mandala of the Guru, a fusion of illusion and reality. One of the female attendants in that mandala, Looked at him and pointed her finger at the deity. The main deity spoke these words to him: SAMAYA (samaya, Sanskrit, vow)! KYE HO (kye ho, exclamation)! Self-awareness, innate wisdom, is inexpressible, The object of attachment, From the self-radiance of appearance, Arises the intellect of delusion, which follows. Futile clinging, habitual tendencies continue, All kinds of appearances are magical displays. Whatever arises, happiness or suffering, is the realm of unreal appearances. Look at it nakedly, rest in naked self-awareness! Appearance is the symbolic Guru, the realm of appearance. Whatever arises, without attachment, naturally liberated, EMAHO (emaho, Sanskrit, wonderful)! This is the view of the ground of mind. Appearance is the symbolic Guru, that is it. This is the natural state of mind, the method of meditation. Next is the practice of the path, the method of training: KYE HO (kye ho, exclamation)! When various things arise unceasingly, From delusion arise doubts, dualistic grasping, hope and fear, Whatever arises, look at the face of the five poisons like this! This delusion arising from the cause of afflictions, The three poisons, the mind attached to happiness, To food, wealth, enjoyment, power, companions, With the asceticism of no futile hope or fear, Rest in the vast space beyond mind! Whatever arises, without attachment, whatever arises, naturally liberated. Without distraction, in the path of naked seeing in awareness. This is the method of training the mind on the path. SAMAYA (samaya, Sanskrit, vow)! KYE HO (kye ho, exclamation)! From self-awareness, self-arising, spontaneous, Whatever arises, without attachment, free from clinging to concepts. In the state of freedom from concepts, train the experience. The realm of appearance is emptiness, emptiness is like space. In the center of that, beyond mind, dwells inexpressible wisdom. In that, without distraction, without delusion, rest in naked seeing. In that, there are no objects, various appearances arise. The activity of spontaneous arising and ceasing is the path of the play of awareness. Whatever activity arises, it is unreal, appearance is liberation. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

‘Understanding this meaning, one can become a Buddha in one lifetime. Samaya (vow).’ This is the unadulterated teaching of the Lama. Samaya (vow). Based on this, I have composed this ritual according to my own wishes. The practice manual for this is as follows: On a mandala of eight lotus petals, place the Lama's Torma (offering cake), surrounded by seven triangular Tormas in front and behind it. Arrange medicine Tormas, Rakta (blood offering), and various offerings. If one practices with genuine devotion, free from doubt and hesitation, there is no doubt that one will directly see the deity. The main practice manual is as follows: Refuge, Bodhicitta (mind of enlightenment), generation stage of oneself as the deity and the deity in front, invitation, prostration, offering a seat, outer, inner, and secret offerings, confession and fulfillment, praise, supplication, receiving empowerment, etc. It is crucial to practice these ten sections without altering, mixing, or corrupting them. Samaya (vow). Namo (homage). I take refuge in the Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha with reverence in body, speech, and mind. May all sentient beings in the six realms who have not been liberated, pacify the suffering of the lower realms and attain the blissful state of Buddhahood. May all conceptual thoughts and dualistic clinging dissolve into their own place, and may the naked vision of self-clarity be realized. Hūṃ Hūṃ Hūṃ. In the vast expanse of the sky mandala, within the red crossed Dharmodayas (chos 'byung, source of phenomena), upon the eight-petaled lotus, from the self-sound of the Dharmakaya (chos sku, body of truth), the syllable 'Hūṃ' (ཧཱུྃ,हूँ,hūṃ,吽), appears the great accomplished Karma Pakshi, reddish-purple, with a fierce and wrathful body, eyes red at the corners, and a piercing gaze. His beard is triangular, black, and lustrous. He wears a black hat with golden radiance on his head, and drapes three Dharma robes over his body. He holds a Vajrakila (ritual dagger) in his hands, and sits majestically in the Vajra posture upon a lotus and sun-moon disc. Above his crown is Padmasambhava (Lotus-born), with a body color that is white tinged with red, wearing a lotus hat and Dharma robes, holding a Vajra (thunderbolt) and Khatvanga (staff), seated in the Vajra posture upon a lotus and moon disc. To his right is Hayagriva (Horse-necked One), red, with an open mouth, bared fangs, and three red eyes. A green horse's head shines on his crown, complete with the signs of a fierce and wrathful deity. He holds a skull staff (thod dbyug, skull staff) and a fire lasso (me zhags, fire lasso) in his hands, and tramples Rudra (a deity) with his two feet in a dancing posture. To his left is Vajravarahi (Adamantine Sow), red, fierce and wrathful, complete with wrathful attire. The sound of a pig's snout resounds on her crown. She holds a curved knife (gri gug, curved knife) and a blood-filled skull cup (thod khrag, blood-filled skull cup) in her hands, with a Khatvanga (staff) tucked under her arm, standing in a dancing posture, residing upon a corpse, lotus, and sun-moon disc. Behind him is Raschung Dorje Drak, wearing a white sheepskin hat, adorned with pleasing and beautiful cotton clothing, with a beautiful and pleasing appearance, holding a Vajra bell (vajra drilbu, vajra bell) in his hands, possessing the attire of a yogi, seated in the Vajra posture upon a lotus and sun-moon disc. In front is Dorje Bernak (Vajra Black Cloak), deep blue-black. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
