Please bless this place to be pure! Please bless this seat to be pure! Please bless this session to be pure! Please bless my continuum to be pure! Please bless this continuum to be liberated! Please bless it to be liberated right now! Please bless this seat to be liberated! Please bless this session to be liberated! Please bless my continuum to generate the supreme samadhi that is unerring! Please bless it to arise right now! Please bless it to arise in this seat! Please bless it to arise in this session! Please bless the supreme wisdom that is unerring to arise! Please bless it to arise right now! Please bless it to arise in this seat! Please bless it to arise in this session! I pray from the depths of my heart and bones. Then, dissolve all Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, Yidams (yi dam, 本尊), Dakinis (mkha' 'gro, 空行母), and the lineage Lamas (bla ma, 上师) into oneself. These also gradually dissolve into light and merge into the root Lama. Blend your own mind with the Lama, inseparable. Finally, dedicate the merit and make aspirations. Then, regarding settling the movement of the mind (གནས་འགྱུ་གཏན་ལ་དབབ་པ,gen gyu ten la bab pa): Cut off the elaborations of the three times (past, present, and future) of the mind and cultivate Shamatha (ཞི་གནས,zhi gnas, 止) and Vipassanā (ལྷག་མཐོང,lhag mthong, 观). When you cannot abide in that state, close your eyes and meditate. Alternatively, you can meditate by looking at the space in front of the tip of your nose. Keep the awareness neither too tight nor too loose. If you can abide in that state, you can meditate; if you cannot, it is not appropriate to meditate. Make the experience of abiding very stable. Then, regarding nakedly exposing awareness (རིག་པ་རྗེན་ལ་ཕུད་པ,rig pa jen la pü pa): If movement and stillness exist separately, cut off their root. Introduce the two, movement and stillness, as one. In this way, there is no movement when there is stillness, and there is no stillness when there is movement, so the mind is not dualistic, but one. This one mind is also free from grasping, like the pleasure experienced in the heart of a youth, or like a mute person tasting molasses, which is beyond expression. Be skilled in recognizing this. It is not a thing and is without boundaries. It cannot be grasped, and it cannot be seen. It is not non-existent, but is fluctuating. Flickering, vivid, and vibrant. Recognize it like your own eye looking at itself. Alternatively, even when observing shapes, colors, directions, etc., it is free from being a thing. Even if you try to pretend to be unconscious, you cannot, so it is free from non-existence. Furthermore, do not block thoughts, let them arise naturally. One thought arises, two thoughts arise, and thoughts and awareness flow naturally. Like snow falling on a lake, when thoughts arise and remain, whatever arises from the five poisons (greed, hatred, ignorance, pride, and jealousy), do not accept or reject them, let them liberate as they arise. Do not tighten the consciousness of the five senses, relax, and recognize that all appearances and existence are the magical display of your own mind alone. Initially, block thoughts; in the middle, merge with thoughts. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

E! Finally, conceptual thought dawns as Dharmakaya. Recognizing the delusion of conceptual thought as one's own mind is: the mind of the Buddha, the mind of sentient beings, the root of all that is knowable, the Middle Way free from extremes, the basis of all samsara and nirvana, the Sugata-garbha, Mahamudra, and so on. Although there are many names, they all arise from the uncorrected, natural state of one's own mind, the inherent capacity of this ordinary awareness. To destroy the habitual patterns of disturbing emotions and cognitive obscurations, one needs an experience of bliss, clarity, and non-thought that is free from clinging and attachment. Even mindfulness itself should not be tainted by the experience of emptiness, bound by belief, or obscured by subtle certainty. If one realizes the meaning beyond the intellect without distortion, one has understood the key to non-meditation and non-distraction. The recognition of non-separation between outer and inner is: all dualistic fixations are delusions, so one must recognize their lack of inherent existence. Appearance and mind are inseparable, outer and inner are inseparable, self and other are inseparable, pleasure and pain are inseparable. It is crucial to recognize the three poisons as inseparable within the realm of Dharma. The teaching on non-meditation, non-effort, and freedom from extremes is: being free from all elaborations, there is no need to meditate or be distracted. Integrating this with whatever activity one does is the view free from extremes, unadulterated, and the definitive understanding of the Buddha's intention. In the past, although it has always been with us, because we did not recognize it, we grasped at the selfless nature of mind as self, and grasped at appearances, which are not other than ourselves, as other. From the knot of dualistic grasping, past accumulations have thrown us here, and present accumulations throw us out there, like falling into a pit of fire and a prison. Now, because we realize that appearance and mind are inseparable, even if the Buddha, the Bhagavan, were to appear in person and say, 'Your mind is a real thing,' it would not become a real thing. If he were to say, 'Your mind is non-existent,' it would not become non-existent. In reality, the Bhagavan himself arises from the mind. However, all those sentient beings who do not realize this are our kind mothers. Alas! They waste their lives, their practice is meaningless, their efforts are misdirected, they wander day and night in delusion, and they do not even know how to perform common virtuous deeds. Thinking of them, we should strive to perform impartial virtuous deeds, and we need to make extensive dedications and aspirations. The extraordinary secret path of union is the path of generation and completion in Vajrayana. Therefore, meditating on the generation stage and meditating on emptiness are not contradictory; it is said that appearance and emptiness are inseparable. First, purify your own body with the Swabhava mantra. From within emptiness, by reciting raṃ (藏文,梵文天城体:रं,梵文罗马拟音:raṃ,seed syllable of fire element), yaṃ (藏文,梵文天城体:यं,梵文罗马拟音:yaṃ,seed syllable of wind element), khaṃ (藏文,梵文天城体:खं,梵文罗马拟音:khaṃ,seed syllable of space element), manifest all things. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
