From the Seven Sections of the Secret Essence: The practice manual for the empowerment of the Dakini Great Bliss Queen, clearly arranged, called 'Ocean of Blessings'. Secret Essence Mother Instructions. Empowerment Ritual. Preliminary Arrangements: Setting up the Mandala. From the Seven Sections of the Secret Essence: The practice manual for the empowerment of the Dakini Great Bliss Queen, clearly arranged, called 'Ocean of Blessings'. Namo Guru Jñana Dakiniye (Sanskrit: Namo Guru Jñana Dakiniye, Homage to the Guru, Wisdom Dakini) The palace of the Prajñāpāramitā Vajra Queen, The mandala of bliss and emptiness, complete and boundless. Those practitioners who enter therein, possess the wisdom of mantra, Uniting with that which causes realization, I enter with understanding and prostrate. The methods of practice for dakinis are endless, To guide those who follow this profound practice, I arrange the reading of the blessing empowerment. May the Lama Dakinis grant their blessings! The Dakini Great Bliss Queen is the main deity, embodying the five heart essences of the Guru as one. In this extraordinary mandala of the Ocean of Dakinis, the steps for admitting fortunate disciples and bestowing blessings and empowerments are divided into three parts: preliminary arrangements for setting up; the main practice of offering and empowerment; and instructions on how to conduct oneself afterwards. Firstly, on an auspicious occasion for dakini activities, such as the tenth day of the waning moon, in a secluded and blessed place, clean and purify the area by sprinkling it with the five elixirs (Tibetan: བདུད་རྩི་ལྔ,Sanskrit: Panchamrita). If available, display blessed objects related to dakinis. In the center, place a clean and beautiful square seat adorned with flowers. On it, place the body mandala, either a painted or powdered mandala of the deity, with a four-tiered palace including a horse-faced gate, steps, charnel ground, and fire mountain, all within a common design. In the center of the mandala, place an intersecting dharma source, with a four-petaled lotus at its center, inscribed with the syllable 'വം (Tibetan: བཾ་,Sanskrit: vaṃ, meaning: vaṃ)', and on the four petals, inscribe 'ཧ་རི་ནི་ས་ (Tibetan: ཧ་རི་ནི་ས་,Sanskrit: harinisa, meaning: Harinisa)' or draw the deity's implements. On the six corners of the dharma source and the eight doorways, place dots of the deity's color. If a mandala cannot be drawn, a well-arranged mandala plate (Tibetan: མཎྜལ་,Sanskrit: mandala) with flowers arranged according to the number of deities is also acceptable. Above it, on a throne, place the speech mandala, which is a kapala (skull cup) filled with fine wine and amrita. Above that, place the mind mandala, which is a mirror smeared with sindhura (red lead), On the mirror, draw an intersecting dharma source and a four-petaled lotus, with the syllable 'വം (Tibetan: བཾ་,Sanskrit: vaṃ, meaning: vaṃ)' at the center, surrounded by the deity's mantra. Inscribe 'ཧ་རི་ནི་ས་ (Tibetan: ཧ་རི་ནི་ས་,Sanskrit: harinisa, meaning: Harinisa)' clockwise on the four petals, and cover it with red silk. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
