Homage! Whose body is complete with the qualities of the three vehicles, adorned with secret robes, brocade cloaks, and a majestic headdress, sits in the unwavering vajra posture of samadhi, dwelling in the realm of wisdom, rainbows, and bindus. Merely hearing his name fulfills all wishes; remembering him dispels the suffering of delusion and affliction. He is the embodiment of the three kayas and the Three Jewels, radiating clouds of the vast Three Roots, the lord of heroes, dakinis, and oath-bound protectors, clearly manifesting as the great glory of stability and change, samsara and nirvana. On the four petals surrounding him: To the east is Guru Padmasambhava as the King of Medicine; to the south is Guru Padmasambhava as the King of Wealth; to the west is Guru Padmasambhava as the King of Yidams; to the north is Guru Padmasambhava as the King of Accomplishment. On the eight auspicious symbols surrounding him: To the east is Guru Padmasambhava as the Lord of Warriors; to the south is Guru Padmasambhava as the Controller of the Four Elements; to the west is Guru Padmasambhava as the Great Destroyer of Evil; to the north is Guru Padmasambhava as the Vajra Armor. To the southeast is Guru Padmasambhava as the Eliminator of the Suffering of Death; to the southwest is Guru Padmasambhava as the Destroyer of Bardo Illusions; to the northwest is Guru Padmasambhava as the Purifier of the Suffering of Rebirth; to the northeast is Guru Padmasambhava as the Protector of the Six Realms. All of these are complete with their respective ornaments and attributes, manifesting in various ways according to the dispositions of those to be tamed. Above the four doors, lotus, sun, and the four maras are intertwined, adorned with Hūṃ, surrounded by Achala, Hayagriva, and the nectar of swirling ambrosia. Fully adorned in charnel ground attire, amidst blazing flames, dispatching emanated messengers, guarding against inner and outer obstacles. Furthermore, all the surrounding areas of the mandala are filled with the Sugatas, Buddhas, and Bodhisattvas of the three times, gurus, vidyadharas, yidams, dakini hosts, and oath-bound protectors gathered like clouds. In the unchanging, indestructible essence of clear light, afflictions are naturally liberated, endowed with the five wisdoms, the skandhas, ayatanas, and dhatus are primordially pure, perfected in the vajra nature of body, speech, and mind. Oṃ Hūṃ Traṃ Hrīḥ Āḥ! Oṃ Āḥ Hūṃ! Secondly, invoking the wheel of wisdom: Like when bestowing blessings, offer incense and music, especially urging with a skull drum: Hūṃ Hrīḥ! In the past, in this Jambudvipa, in the northwest of the land of Oddiyana, in the lotus stem and pistil, he attained the supreme and wondrous accomplishment. He is known as Padmasambhava, surrounded by many dakinis. I, following in your footsteps, practice; please descend to bestow blessings. Please bestow blessings in this sacred place, grant me the four empowerments for practice, dispel obstacles and adverse influences, and grant both supreme and common siddhis. Oṃ Āḥ Hūṃ! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
