One should focus intently on reciting the sounds of praise, and upon concluding the session, settle into a state of non-objectification, like breathing on a mirror. Alternatively, relying on the force of previous practice, one can simply recall the deity, and when its appearance arises, recite based on that. Or, even if the form of the deity does not clearly manifest, one should recite with the prideful thought that 'my body, speech, and mind are inherently the body, speech, and mind of the deity,' which is related to the विशेष (viśeṣa, विशेष, vishesha, special) special points of the essential instructions. This concise clarification of the outer, inner, and secret practices of Rigdzin Thugthig (Heart Drop of the Vidyadharas) was written by Gyurme Dorje at the urging of Jatang Orgyen Lhundrup, and the scribe was Orgyen Namdrol. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
