Great Treasure TD244, Practice of Vidyadhara Life, Treasury of Rainbow Tent Clear Light, King of Guidebooks. Resides the Profound Dakini Pure Vision. Practice of Vidyadhara Life. Guidebook. Practice of Vidyadhara Life. Treasury of Rainbow Tent Clear Light, King of Guidebooks. Resides the Profound Dakini Pure Vision. Namo Dharmadhatu Mahasanti Samati Guru Bhyah. In the utterly secret rainbow tent, the uncontaminated vajra realm, The spontaneously accomplished five lights, the lord of the Sambhogakaya's marks and signs. Emanating to tame beings, the vidyadhara Padmasambhava. Yidam, Dakini, Dharma protectors, I offer to the crown of my head. The essence of the vast ocean of outer, inner, and secret Dharma practices, Condensed into the heart essence, Mahamudra and Mahasandhi. Kama, Terma, and pure vision, profound whispered lineages, Beautify this entire environment of the snowy mountains. The stream of blessing nectar, the liberation of vajra bonds, Like the supreme essence of milk, the quintessence of whispered lineages, May it fulfill the wishes of all beings who are liberated by hearing. The condensed essence of the heart, the instruction of the vidyadhara thigle, In the mandala of the vajra, the basis of the space-faring realm, The secret mantra of heroes and dakinis, the vajra words. The heart essence of clear light, the spontaneously present state of primordial nature, The song that reveals the self-face of spontaneous accomplishment. Here, the illusory yogi speaks a little. Those of inferior fortune, attached to the side of cause and effect, Abandoning the path, taking the wrong path, the path is shallow, the road is crooked. To those without fortune, keep it secret and extremely secret, Obtain only a fraction of the wind element, sealed with the mudra of non-leakage. Those of good fortune, supreme, rich in wisdom, Especially those who have offered the merit of the ocean of lifetimes. Here, those who manifestly enter the Mahayana Dharma, Gather on the easy path of Ati and manifestly, Not deviating from the four visions of the vajra path, Following the vidyadhara Dharma lord lama, To those fortunate ones, proclaim this vajra melody. Therefore, the life practice, the essential common guide, the sun of clear light of existence and peace. The great path of pure self-arising wisdom of reality is called the heart essence of secret instructions. Briefly explaining the vajra body, there are three parts: preliminary, main, and subsequent. Explaining the preliminary in detail, there are two types: common and special. First, explaining the common preliminary, there are four: the difficulty of obtaining leisure and endowment, contemplating impermanence, entering the instruction of the infallibility of karma and its results, and the faults of samsara. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The fourth part is about explaining the excellent benefits of leisure and liberation. The first is to contemplate the difficulty of obtaining the precious leisure and opportunity: like a poor person finding a wish-fulfilling jewel, like the appearance of the Udumbara flower in the world, like a blind turtle's neck entering the hole of a yoke in the ocean, and like throwing beans at a smooth wall, no matter how many you throw, none will stick. Contemplate these countless examples. This is contemplating the difficulty of obtaining from the perspective of examples. Contemplating from the perspective of numbers: for example, the foundation of a pile of grains is like the three lower realms, which are numerous and have great suffering, as is clear in all the sutras and tantras of the Victorious Ones. Above that are the three higher realms, which are only slightly better than the lower realms. However, because they have not abandoned the endless karma of existence, they still have endless suffering of entering samsara again. And the top, which is like a small amount of grain, is like this precious leisure and opportunity. Therefore, this leisure and opportunity must be made meaningful. Furthermore, the beings of the lower realms are like the earth, the number of sentient beings in the higher realms is like a blizzard, and the body of a person with leisure and opportunity who possesses Dharma is like dust on a fingernail. One should meditate on the endless ways of how difficult it is to obtain from the perspective of numbers, and not let oneself fall into the abyss of laziness and negligence. Contemplating the difficulty of obtaining from the perspective of cause: one should not do any evil deeds that are the cause of the lower realms, and abandon them. Relying on the cause of the higher realms and heavens, such as the ten virtues and other contaminated and uncontaminated, subtle and gross, excellent virtues, one obtains this human body of leisure and opportunity as a result. Therefore, one should contemplate the truth that cause and effect are infallible. In this way, one should contemplate the difficulty of obtaining from the perspective of cause. Furthermore, all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas of the past, and all beings who are in the past and present, rely on the human body to practice Dharma and attain Buddhahood. The human body is such a supreme basis, and praising the white qualities of this human body, even all the Tathagatas cannot express it with their vajra tongues. Therefore, first, one should contemplate the difficulty of obtaining leisure and opportunity from the perspective of examples, numbers, causes, and nature, and contemplate the qualities. Secondly, it is explained that such a rare human body is also impermanent in nature: from the beginning when samsara and nirvana turned their backs on each other, until the final moment. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
